Re: Lightened stock flywheel

Its a proven fact that lighter weight on both ends of a crank will give you more performance, just installed a pg billet aluminum front face and now need to oofset it with a milled stator, contacted that local on craigslist, he wants to install the stator which is a big "no" for me, i wou...

Re: 72cc Stock carb and trans tuning.

Been playing around with my motor lately and have gotten it to 63.8 per gps. This was slight downhill with head wind. Got a flat tire yesterday so I will be tinkering with it some more haha. Going to try and swap out my 1000 center spring for a stock one and see how it is.

Re: 72cc Stock carb and trans tuning.

Technically there can't be an absolute chart for rpm vs mph but it gives you an idea of where you should be. 10gx6=60g. Most of the time the Ma iron uses 48g total but it's all user preference. Now if the engines spinning faster than you think it should be there's gotta be a slip somewhere. Also ke...

Re: 72cc Stock carb and trans tuning.

Indeed they do sound heavy but its the only way i will even come close to removing the mark on the front pulley. I tried 7/8 gram weights and is was super revvy. Spun past 9500 but definately was no where near the speeds it should be at 9500.

72cc Stock carb and trans tuning.

Hey guys, so recently i just put together my Malossi 72cc motor and im having difficulty tuning it (Baka-san was right). Right now my jets are 40/94 needle in the middle. Here is my setup Dd-Block (boost ported, and intake ported) Zx trans with S clutch. (Perhaps that S clutch is the problem?) Kelli...

Re: OIL, Synthetic or Regular.

Some people down here in Hawaii run non synthetic for break in and switch to synthetic after. Idk I like to run synthetic from the get go. Amsoil Dominator is good and is very affordable is bought by the Gallon. 1 Gallon for 36.85 over here

Re: Flash 6: Deepinnaharta Freeway Cruiser

Ive seen people do it with a Corsa and malossi cast but never with an aluminum. I dont see your logic behind the 654 making take off slower? the 654 was made for Zx trans. Your trying to run a belt that isnt made for zx trans, thats how i see it. People down here run the 654 and M7q and get good res...

Re: Corsa line

Not to be a * or anything but why spend MORE money on a new high quality bore when you dont know what youre doing? Finding a leak is more than just looking at it and saying "hmmm, well it looks fine", the tiniest leak will blow the s*** out of your $300 bore. Before you purchase another bo...

Re: Flash 6: Deepinnaharta Freeway Cruiser

What springs are you using in the clutch? Stock clutch? I would try get rid of that ruckus pulley and metro belt and try something else. Kelli pulley with an M7q belt made for zx trans perhaps? or possibly the 654 18 30 big teeth. I personally use the M7q but some prefer the 654. Totally different t...

Re: Flash 6: Deepinnaharta Freeway Cruiser

you want the mark on the front pulley to fully be erased if im not mistaken. Thats how i tune my trans anyway and it seems to work great. Are you using the stock S trans wheelman? Dont understand why your not cracking 70. If im not mistaken you said you went to the 2000 center, wouldnt you have to g...

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build

65 on 8:5 gears not bad. I dont know much about S trans or the polini clutch but i run Zx stock clutch with 2000 springs 1000 center and its super responsive. How is the pickup with the 8:5? Id like to get 8:1, my malossi gears make too much noise lol

345 is not hot lol. If he was hitting closer to 380 then I would be worried. What springs are you running on your clutch? S or zx trans?

Screaming noise coming from trans?

Hey guys so there's a noise coming from my trans that I just can't seem to figure out. I thought the problem was the bearings So I changed them out but still the sound is there. The gears I'm running are 7:1 Malossi straight cuts. Proper amount of oil is being used in gears. Af16 block. Any idea wha...
