Re: Gyro Oil Pump Repair
When oil drains down past the check-ball in the oil pump, what is the proper way to remedy the problem, considering you want to retain the pump in use ? Pull the check valve (it's a light press fit) 1) Spray from the pump side w/carb cleaner. Post cleaning test: Connect the pump side of the valve t...

Re: Honda Spree -- No power to starter
From the relay harness when key is on I get 11.6 volts to 1 prong and when I squeeze brake I get 10.2 volts to prong directly next to it and when I press start button I get nothing ... There is no listed spec on the minimum relay 'pull-in' voltage, but I tested one on the bench a long time ago and ...

Re: Honda Spree -- No power to starter
I have replaced the starter Relay with a brand new one. Put test light on it and 2 of the prongs get Juice There should be +12v on 3 prongs of the relay with the ignition "ON", brake lever pulled and start button activated. Take a look at the marked up diagram. The green is good from what...

Re: Spree gas tank thread size for fuel petcock 1985
I have a 1985 honda spree. We need a new fuel petcock but need to know what the size of the thread is on the tank. Thanks a bunch in advance! It's a good idea to measure your threads. After almost 40 years, previous owners may have swapped in a different tank. OEM Spree petcock threads: Honda Spree...

Re: Different OEM pulley?
In your photo the center pulley is the early Spree. The pulley on the left of your pic is the newer one.
Check out noiseguy's thread detailing pulley differences and mods between 84/85 Spree vs 86/87 Spree and SB50.

Re: Honda carb adjustment
Most everything covered on this board had an electrical actuated cold start system. I know little about Melody scooter models, but in searching have found cable and vacuum operated systems were present on various Melody models. A photo of your carb and associated connections may be of help to member...

Re: Cargo Racks, Grab Bars
Hi Motormike, I looked over the NN50 rear, and remembered why the plastic is off. It was to show a member how the bystarter wires are routed over the air filter box. The wires are still pulled away from their hold downs. There's one cover we have that has a melted spot too. It came that way so I don...

A trial bag - bit larger than what I want. It does fit ms mouse's laptop, and leave room much more, so we'll see what she thinks too. Front_View_w_Bag.JPG The front of the bag unzips the large compartment for the laptop. The rear unzips to expose a smaller section with phone pocket, zippered pocket ...
