ive just got a 1992 sa50 in white, it runs and rides perfectly, theres no problems there but im having problems with ALL of the lights and the indicators, none of them seem to work the clocks arent working not even the lights inside the clocks seem to work, ive been through the whole wiring system, ...

you kept the original cylinder and piston ? i would keep it because if you screw up your piston and cylinder that you have on there now you can just put your original back on while your waiting for another one to come, but then again i ALWAYS keep all the original parts i have when i mod scoots beca...

what about a suction mount? that way you can attach the suction cup to where the speedo is, or you could remove the plastic mount on the back of the case and velcro it to where your speedo is, would need alot of velcro though, that way you wont have to cut any panels or anything......... youll proba...

this is why you should ride it more lol, from experience with my 92 sa50 if you leave it standing for a week or two like you have in cold weather wich we have the brakes will freeze up like you have experienced, happens on pretty much any drum braked bike/scooter, only time its happened to me and iv...

id change the rollers and belt while youre in there, how did you tighten the nut on the drive face? have you tried using a piston stopper and then tightening it with a normal socket ? it could be that the nut isnt being tightened up enough and is simpy vibrating loose, happened to me on my speedfigh...
