Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build 74.6 MPH 80 + MPH
Polini 3 shoe polini bell and from 10 up there is a noticeable change in acceleration changed it back to the polini setup and the bike was slower not knocking the polini clutch it is a great clutch for the money but the dr pulley clutch works better on my setup in my opinion springs are only going t...

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build 74.6 MPH 80 + MPH
lost some take off ( will solve that with stiffer springs)
but from about 5MPH up pulls a lot better
and the riding rpm's are lower because the clutch isn't slipping
and the clutch bell isn't as hot after a ride
worth buying in my opinion

What was the final cost on it? Which bike did you use as a reference to order it? I know a few people have used them but it wasn't cheap. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/clutch+serie+pro+hit+by+dr_hit161301 Kymco zx50 superfever depending on exchange rate about 150. clutch 20. ship Frick...

Re: New Clutch Idea-Smart people welcome
Hey I was sitting around thinking about how to make a clutch grab better. My idea is to create a clutch that has a cam-like movement that at a certain percent of movement relieves SOME spring tension from the "grabber" springs. Key points: The clutch arm travel will be held by the same sp...

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build 74.6 MPH 80 + MPH
7415 miles
malossi red contra spring worn out
turning 6,500 - 7,000 rpm at 40 mph
instead of
9,000 - 9,500 rpm at 40 mph
ran ok bit it made it for lazy acceleration from 30-40 mph
( would bog than take off)
going to try other brands of contra springs
in the future

Hi Cruz. Are you saying the AF 16 aftermarket secondary gears will fit the metro? If so do we need to do any modifications? Please let me know Thanks  Let me see if I got it 1. use AF16 or ZX clutch shaft? 2. Use AF16 secondary gear? 3. Use AF 16 final gear? did I get it right? if ...

Re: Honda Metropolitan (not sure what I will do with it) bui
Not much you can do to a GET 4 stroke engine most people add a aftermarket ignition (more rpm) take off the air box and change the variator than carb intake cam exhaust no bolt on bb kit the block is the cylinder not really much available in gearing you can put stock metro secondary gears in a rucku...
