Re: help. my 86 spree motor starts and runs backwards.
If you are 100% sure it is running backwards (fan spinning wrong way, rear wheel is spinning backwards) then I would think the timing is off. I would pull the flywheel and check to see if the woodruff key is there. More that likely you will need a flywheel puller to remove it. Sometimes they can be ...

Re: Kikker Bobber Stolen
That sucks but at least you have a leed. And keep in mind the person selling it doesn't know that you or it does not have a title. I would go and feel it out, verify it is yours, and go from there. If you do think they might have been the one's that stole it (not very likely) then I would just strai...

Sweet! Thanks! Unfortunately looks like all mine either have the 11.1 or 12.1 ratio.

Re: Which two should I modify? (nb50, se50, sa50, xx50...?)
Very nice collection. The porting on the '87 cylinder is better than the '86. The '87 to 98 difference could be rollers , belt wear, exhaust build up, compression, carb tune... Well it turns out the 87 and 98 are about the same with the 87 having a 1-2 mph higher top end if going down a very steep ...

Re: Which two should I modify? (nb50, se50, sa50, xx50...?)
Sweet. the 98' is not the restricted version. And to clarify it is faster than the 93' and the aero's but not by much. The 87' sp50e was restricted when I got it and I swapped the variator and exhaust. I also swapped jets with one from an aero but don't know if its the right size as they're not mark...

Which two should I modify? (nb50, se50, sa50, xx50...?)
Hello, been lurking on the forum for a while but don't post much. I've been rebuilding spree's, Aero's, and Elite's on the side for a while now but haven't gotten into modifying them. I've been thinking about keeping a couple for my self and would like to make them a little faster. I've got several ...
