My understanding is that Spree parts from 1984 to 1987 are all interchangable. Exhaust from 84-85 is different from 86-87, but interchangable. My in tank filter is stuck too. My tank was rusty, and the filter was so clogged with rust that it wouldn't flow fuel. Call drichardson@core.com, or check ebay. You need the insulator. If I were you, I'd consider running an inline filter to your new carb. How's the tank? Jerry, Does aircraft stripper work on plastic? I know it does on aluminum. I hate strippers. You never get all of it off, and it eat the new paintjob.
