Re: 1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
Edit: Just purchased these 1/4" vacuum line caps off of ebay to plug the ends of the oil pump lines.

Anyone have a spare oil pump with good seals that they could sell to me? Might decide to just replace it

Re: 1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
Definitely would consider running premix if I can find an oil pump plug. Anyone have one and have a write up on how to install it?

Re: 1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
I went out to remove the spark plug but I don't have a 13/16" deep well socket so this will have to wait until I can get one tomorrow. If the bike is in fact "hydrolocked", would I be able to turn the motor over a full revolution (with great force) with my socket wrench? I'm fearing a...

Re: 1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
I just tried the above method with a plug-in power still. Even the drill won't turn the nut. No grinding or binding noises are heard, just very hard to turn at the compression point. Any ideas?

Re: 1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
Kickstart wont work without the piece youre missing. On the diagram below, you are missing part #4....Therefore, you cannot use part #3....Put your cover back on WITHOUT part #3....then try your electric starter. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Honda/Scooter/1986/NQ50+A/DRIVE+FACE/parts.html ...

1987 Spree - Hard to turn over
Hello and thanks for any and all help in advance: I am working on my 1987 Honda Spree today. I just got new kick start gears installed and a new battery. The problem is that this Spree is very hard to turn over, so much so that I can't even move the kick start lever, nor will the electric-start star...
