Re: which oil has that great 2 stroke smell ?

Blendzall Makes an Injector blended Castor oil, their part number is 455 and yes it smells delicious. http://www.amazon.com/Blendzall-Ultra-Racing-Castor-Oil/dp/B005UGGWJ2 I switch between this and good synthetic once every 4 tanks. (3 castor 1 Synthetic) since straight castor oil can make your exha...

Actually it looks like the NH80 had a different mounting scheme, but that assembly is also available part number 33100-GC8-621 http://images.cmsnl.com/img/products/33100gc8612-headlight-assy_big33100GC8621-01_ed19.jpg Or if you just want the light with the replaceable socket (I don't know if the sto...

Re: aero NH80 clutch roller weights

I did the roller weights when I upgraded to the JASAL Top racing variator, on my NH50 with a 70cc kit. my stock weights were like 12.5 grams, I ended up using the lightest set that shipped with the variator 9 gram. and it still shifts before the peak of the power band. I would also try a slightly lo...

New Headlight option NH80 perhaps others

Well I had to replace the headlight assembly in my Euro spec Honda Lead. I was going to convert to US Spec sealed beam, but when I found that these are not only more expensive (if you can even find a new one) but have to be tossed when they burn out. unlike the stock Euro spec that has a replaceable...

Re: Aero 50-High Cold Idle but dies when hot!

My Chineese Knockoff kehin does this since day one. I tune it where is does not want to take off on warm-up and stalls when warm, tune it for warm running then while warmup it wants to jump off the stand. My soloution is going to be to use my old Dellorto from another build Manual choke and all. Des...

Re: OIL, Synthetic or Regular.

When I don't order online, I get my oil from Cycle gear too.. they have 3 oils in stock for Oil injected bikes Red Line Motul 710 Castrol RS I Put them in order of price per ounce. the red line is EXPENSIVE! and very thin so I'm afraid to use it. Actually the best luck I had was with the Motul 710,,...

Re: Ethanol conversion

excellent. I'll break what I know down in to several sections. since I need to read different parts of the rules to address them. Carb will work fine, only concern in a Keihin carb is the composition of the floats (plastic) and perhaps the diaphragm if it can withstand E100. at a stedy RPM the carb ...

Re: Ethanol conversion

When you say ethanol I assume Pump E85 is what your referring to, ~107 octane. E85 Loves to Run in higher compression applications 12:1-13:1 is fine.. Although you might have to make it kick start only (These Starters are not exactly high torque units) The good thing for you is the CH80 engine is ro...

Forks or shocks... HELP.

Well Finally got the YSS MONO mounted on the rear of the NH50 and LET ME SAY WOW!!! best $60 I ever spent. The 30 year old Showa was doing nothing and the spring rate was for a small french kid, not a Super Size American. Regardless, With the rear end planted it's really drawing attention to the fac...

Re: Our so society is so *

$100 year to insure a scooter is cheap.. not to mention 4 of them.. I've come out to kids messing with, I assume, trying to snag Both my Aprillia and Honda. Oddly enough the custom Maliguti (most valuable of my scoots) gets left alone. If there is no title or plate on it you have to bring it in, any...

Re: Is the stock 2.75-10 the best tire for a 1987 Elite 50S?

I like the K 413 they came stock on my Kenetic. Not as sticky as some of the German or French tires, but good enough to grind hard parts if you push it, and for the money they look like $1,000,000

Re: HI, I'm new, and this is my 1983 Aero project.

yea I was looking at the Variator setup in your pics and it looks identical to my AF01 (short belt) I have the stock, belt and variator to try them out. but I'm 1/2 tempted to just pickup an NH80 motor and bolt it up... actually there is an NH125 on Ebay right now for < $200 and those motors are pre...

Re: HI, I'm new, and this is my 1983 Aero project.

Just checked the cylinders. while the bore and stroke are the same. (so the pistons will work) the cylinder of the AB07E uses 1/2 wing transfer ports, (like a Honda moped motor) where the AF01 (like all the AF engines) use "full wing" transfer ports.. so the AF01 piston will work, but I'll...

Re: HI, I'm new, and this is my 1983 Aero project.

Just picked two of these for the club.. I'm out of town, so is there in fact a variator on the front pulley. if so this motor is more like an AF01E then an AF05E. The bore and stroke are the same as an AF01E which makes sense since The 83 Nh50 sold elsewhere got that engine. I'm going to check the b...
