cheer up, you have a faster 50 cc bike. my old beat up aero 50 would go 38 mph on flat ground.

do it, you can go far on an elite. i rode my first elite 150 15,000 miles in one year and the 250 i replaced it with went over 25.000 miles in 2 years. those were the days. it may be easier to find a 250 elite or helix as they were imported more years.

what is the top speed of that burgman. i hear the silverwing has a governor at 115.

it is true that bigger wheels soak up bumps better. motorcycles have better suspension by far. however the speed and power of a motorcycle increases you chance of going too fast and getting in over your head. id rather bail off a scooter at 30 mph than try to put a heavy streetbike into a full panic...
