Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I have a 85 Honda Gyro. It was running fine. I parked it and now it won't start. Does not have spark.

1984 Honda Gyro will only start by spraying starting fluid into breather box. Afterwards runs and idles great and will start without fluid. Have checked the by starter- wiring- had carb cleaned in heated tank what should I try next.

I just joined the forum. I'm in Punta gorda for the winter and just bought a 84 Gyro. I have an 85 back in Indiana and really like it. The 84 would not start without using starter fluid. Cleaned the carb & new plug but no luck. Had a scooter shop here put the carb in his tank. The Gyro now start...
