Re: won't start or run w/o assistance

Here's how it looks now, I can't seem to get it any more "glossy" but it is cleaner.

Thank you, I will do the following and read into the link. Any tips on pulling carb off w/o getting fuel everywhere?

won't start or run w/o assistance

Hello all, I have an '85 aero nb50m that I just got all back together & saved from the scrap. I can get it to start & run with throttle 1/2 way down or so. Wont idle or start on its own without giving it gas. Also, while it is running there is a bit of fuel trickling out of carb overflow. So...

Better video, starts by giving it gas. About 1/2 throttle and runs by holding at 1/2 throttle. As soon as I let go it dies. Still leaks gas while its running.

Smoke looks good though :-)

Re: Low miles 1985 Aero 50 restore

Greetings: Honda changed the tank fitting diameter in 1986 for ALL models, not just the Spree. The 1985 petcocks don't fit later tanks, and vice-versa. If you have an '85 you must get a 1985 petcock or a later model fuel tank as the '85 petcocks may not be easy to find. Yeah I understand, I got a n...

Re: Low miles 1985 Aero 50 restore

She runs!!! Took a few short bursts with the elec start since thats all it has. Ran for a few short seconds. Airfilter & cover should be here in a few days. Oil to pump is good. Spark is good. I'll post a link to a video asap. Cheers!!
