Re: Oil Tank to Fuel Reserve (Do it right parts list)

Greetings: Nice work, but a word of Caution: Use spring clips or hose clamps on EVERY fitting, no matter how tight it seems when assembled. Hot-Cold-bounce can cause a line to pop off the barb, leaving you stalled in a flammable lake. Don't ax me how I know... Haha thanks for the cautionary words o...

Re: Oil Tank to Fuel Reserve (Do it right parts list)

Hey all, Back from Vegas, and my parts are in! Here's my plumbing: http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k557/kdowgialo/2D9BC5CB-72EC-4F4A-B715-6DC3EA5CC0CA.jpg All the parts fit well, and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. The valve is a little hard to open, but just use 2 hands and you'll...

Oil Tank to Fuel Reserve (Do it right parts list)

Hey all, I've finally found time to start working on the Spree again. I've got a bunch of parts just waiting to be put on (BBK, new intake stuff, exhaust, etc.). (BTW, thanks again Graphite and RedEft!) I knew going in that I'd have to go back to premixing :( , and as we all know the Spree's fuel ta...

Re: What to do; what to do. . . AF16 blew!

Polini corsa or contessa, intake manifold, and a polini 24mm. Solid 65mph setup. Only pipes That sound like dirtbikes, are chamber style pipes. B moon, fabrizi, arrow, technigas. I can put you a package together if your interested. The corsa and contessa have zero issues with being ridden reliably....

What to do; what to do. . . AF16 blew!

Hey folks! So my beloved stock AF16 finally blew on the Spree (bottom ring went). I got a good amount of miles on that thing (most of them with the throttle wide open), considering that when I bought it it was pulled from a scoot with a good amount of miles already. Sooooo I guess that means it's ti...

Totally worked! Thanks! :peace:

Brake Lever Amp Drop!

Hey folks, I've got a weird one and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this.... When the brake lever is out (only tested this with the rear brake) the scoot idles low and the headlamp dims, but when the lever is in, the idle quickens and the headlamp brightens. It seems as though the brake ...

Re: AF rear locknut

NUT, FLANGE (10MM) 94050-10000... bajack quotes a p/n for the 'missing nut' in your pic. ...Ya, I let my impact smack it a few times, but I didn't use a 39mm... Whoops. I used an 1-1/2 inch socket thinking it would be "good enough." I guess not... You need a different p/n for that part. S...

Re: AF rear locknut

AF rear locknut

Anyone know where I can source this rear nut? My impact kinda shredded this one up and I'd like to replace it.... Does anyone know if Honda still sells it? (I have doubts about that though...) Maybe a third party site? Maybe a Chinese scooter with the same nut? Or even anyone parting out an AF motor...

Re: Dio wet clutch options?

Im assuming your kart had a gearbox allowing you to run a wet clutch. There are plenty of guys running bikes that launch hard, with strong motors. with out dry clutches. Grab a nice performance clutch and you'll be happy. One of my karts didn't have a "gearbox" to run a wet clutch it was ...
