Re: Fuel getting to carb??? Honda spree
If you mean the sparkplug plug that goes on top of it when it's in the motor I did try that, there was no spark...and I just went out and bought a new sparkplug and wound up with the same result, the motor just goes weh-weh-weh-weh. The motor itself does move

Fuel not getting to carb
My 84 Spree has been in the garage all winter and I am now getting it out for the spring. I tried starting it up but the engine made no effort to turn over, it would just chug until the battery was dead. I figured the carb must not be getting any or enough fuel, so I pulled the fuel cable from the c...

Re: 84 Spree throttle not moving at all
Greetings: The element that is most likely to lock up is the cable. Unscrew the carb top and tug to see what's up. I suspect you don't have a kickstarter, so remove the belt cover and see if the engine is hydrolocked from a winter's worth of pump leakage. I unscrewed the throttle on top of the carb...

Re: 84 Spree throttle not moving at all
Yeah the grip doesn't turn at all like it's stuck and it sounds like the motor is spinning when I engage the starterMeatball wrote:You mean the grip just wont twist? Like its stuck? Does the motor spin when the starter is engaged or is that locked too?Quantrill wrote: THE THROTTLE DOESNT MOVE AT ALL!

84 Spree throttle not moving at all
I put my 1984 Honda Spree in my garage for the winter and got it back out today since the weather is so nice, my battery was fully charged and I tried to start it, but the engine would not turn over AND THE THROTTLE DOESNT MOVE AT ALL. Is there an adjustment I can make to possibly loosen the throttl...

I have a 1984 Honda spree and the max speed is 25 mph, my friends can go from 30-35 and even to 40 sometimes, I've heard a tune up can speed your spree up, what can speed it up and if a tune up is the way, how does one do that?

CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG
I have an 84 Honda spree that I recently got running after not being used for a while, but when come to a stop with no throttle it makes a "chug chug chug chug" noise and dies, so I have to start it up again real quick. I have adjusted the idle so I know it is not that does anyone know of ...

Honda Spree kick start not working
i have an 84 spree and i have had issues with it starting inconsistently, it only had an electric start. I thought maybe if I got a kick start it would start manually. I ordered one and installed it gave it some kicks and its started then died almost instantly. Occasionally it has run good but no lu...
