flat weights are caused most times from debris or just old worn out parts. Stock Dio motor has 8.5 grams in them. im pretty sure that variator kit has 8.5s in them. Did you try removing your restrictor plate from behind the variator? that alone will give you speed. As for your motor, look on the bac...

very simply tuning your ped with different weights, springs, derestricting your pipe and a new variator should get you up to speed. You also might want to rejett. Fooling with the airbox is a way more tricky application that most people would think it is. you can easily make it run leaner with moddi...

i think honda man hit it.
try doing that and your exhaust. The best way to keep those pips clean is to take them off anf have the dipped at a radiator shop over night. That il clean it all out. Thats a old trick we used to do when i can in cali racing YSRs..

actually those cdi boxes are not scams.. they do increase your rev, but advances the timing a little bit. Which makes your bike run hotter. I have a friend who makes those in taiwan..

no matter if we lived right next door to each other, with the exact same bikes. They do not run the same. Thats the whole fun about making a moped faster, its all about "tuning"

the main reason for having it wide open is to make sure its getting oil on the off throttle position. Think about this, it only opens when you are on the gas, so what happens if your coasting down along hill. We al know that the bike wil now go back to idle until you slow down. Now its spinning ther...

i think the biggest stock carb jet you can get is like a #90 and with a set up like that, your going to need at least a #100.. how do i know? I have set up bikes like that before, I dont recommend using the stock carb, the chances of it being lean is almost 100% . They make no pilot jets for them so...

plug chop doesnt solve everything...
sounds like a reed problem, try checking to make sure if there is no gaps in them. Im assuming that on the stand it idles and revs up. Also is it all stock with no mods done to it?

sounds maybe like a bad rod, did you try and move it side to side? Cant be a bearing, they usually make weird whistling noises, unless the bearing is really screwed up. Then if thats the case, i wouldnt even try to start it.

remember when you open up a exhaust you get leaner. After doing that i would suggest kenny`s favorite thing"plug chop" hehehe Making something stock going faster is all about the small details when tuning.
good luck & have fun!

fastest 2 stroke moped is a jog. at 90cc producing about 22 hp. Its does about 11.5 in the 1/4 mile. I wish my dios with that engine size could produce that kines of power.
