flat weights are caused most times from debris or just old worn out parts. Stock Dio motor has 8.5 grams in them. im pretty sure that variator kit has 8.5s in them. i think the biggest stock carb jet you can get is like a #90 and with a set up like that, your going to need at least a #100.. how do i know? I have set up bikes like that before, I dont recommend using the stock carb, the chances of it being lean is almost 100% . They make no pilot jets for them so...
