Re: Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohola Skyway
I live 5 miles from the dragon Harley shop. Best road around here, except the knoxville off ramps. Make sure you look online at killboys pictures.

oil to use on injector?
I do tons of urban exploring on my spree and there is not a single honda shop seen for miles. We have a ktm shop, but idk what weight of oil to get to work in a injector. I DO NOT wanna have to premix as I am out for hours exploring and trying to fill out fast because I don't have a title. So I pits...

Re: MHR cylinder kit issue roll call
so it wasn't a true kit. Im just referring to the MHR's on the dio's. nonetheless I wouldn't be happy about that. Im not stating that malossi sells bogus kits, I'm just trying to pinpoint where the counterfeit mhr kits are being sold. Malossi doesn't deserve the brand blemish. Im betting all the cl...

It was that piston, or a copy of it and I had the local shop just bore it and port it.

Re: MHR cylinder kit issue roll call
I had a vespa 200 with a MHR 220cc piston that I paid $300 for to have installed and bored and it melted and had obvious castingmarks and the shape was off. It wasn't chalky to say, but it had a very funky pattern of ripples on the side where it had kinda gernaded. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/...

Re: Bumps Cause Spree to Nearly Stall
Im running a 90 jet and im wondering if the carb bowl is gettign sucked dry too fast, and when I hit a bump it sloshes and causes it to starve, because if im 1/2 throttle and hit a bump its starts to bog, then if I open it fully it catches right back up and runs right up the powerban.

Re: Bumps Cause Spree to Nearly Stall
Hello, and welcome to the forums!
I have been having the same problem recently too, I think it has something to do with the carb float pin/needle? Im not too sure but I replaced the old one and it started to act up. Try to clean your carb if you hav'nt already and see if it helps.

Re: ISO Common Issues Caused by No Use
Thanks a lot guys, I'm already seeing a little bit of these issues. Also: Rusted, stuck cables. Shredded seats. Faded plastics, body panels, dash lenses, light lenses. Rotted hoses. Air filters deteriorated. Crankcases and mufflers filled with two-stroke oil, or fuel, or both. Rusted and peeling br...

Re: My 1985 Honda Spree I found in a barn
Good find, I found my spree in a barn too, it had sat for 25 years under a cover untouched, besides some rust and massive stinkbug nest it was amazing. Good luck with it, and hope you have fun.

Re: 86 spree slipping
How frustrating that must be. I feel for ya. Snap some closeups of the trans at the crank and driven pulley and maybe there is something we can see to help you out. We gotta get you up and running :-) Im starting to feel sick but I will next week. Theres a washer behind the driven variator, then th...
