I'm pretty sure the heating problem could be your carb you should run a pwk 33mm carb I've just finished a 121cc which ran 450 with a 28mm carb after changing to a 33mm carb with 38/145 jets it doesn't go pass 375 and I would up the comp to 150 with a pipe like that

from experience a 125cc you would want 33mm carb anything less is going to flaten out on the top end and if you plan on using a pg long you would want to try and keep compression around 120-140 and remove the ring. if you decide on running a big stroker pipe then you can keep it around 150-155 for c...

the delta clutch is great you can adjust how fast or slow it will come in I've ran 4k clutch springs with a 2k center for my 107cc setup with 6.8 gears but it can be really hard on. the rear pulley I've broke them its pretty common with a high rpm setup.
