Re: Official NS50F thread

Look back two posts in this thread, and you will see that motormike posted a link to the NS50F service manual. The link still works as of this minute. Click on the link and download the manual before going ahead.. look at page 15-2. You can get to the CDI without any special tools.

Re: 1999 Honda Elite 80 VIN location/info

Please report back if you can or can't find the tag on your...

Re: Starting issues

The petcock on the Spree that seems to work perfectly may be stuck open, so that it doesn't need vacuum to start the fuel flow. On the other Spree the tiny hole that leads from the float chamber to the bystarter well might be blocked, so the bystarter can't find that first shot of fuel. Fill the flo...

Re: Are these Factory 1986 Honda Spree Accessories?

The front basket mount looks homemade, and the basket is not a factory accessory Spree front basket. The basket itself may be a factory accessory rear basket. The factory accessory front basket mount is a chrome piece that uses all three mounting points. The front basket is smaller than what you hav...

Re: Gyro - general thread

I mounted the ChengShins this morning, and took the Gyro out for a spirited drive around the sub-division. The tires seem ok at 11PSI, with good cornering grip and a soft ride. Re: Gyro - general thread

The 2 ply Cheng Shin Bristers Thunder Kart knobby tires arrived today, and I think I will try them first. They are closest in spec to the Made in Japan Dunlop originals.
