Re: The Daily Chat

I was in Guam yesterday, and found that the Yamaha dealer there rents Zuma 125's by the day. Here is a photo of the one I rented. I drove it all the way around the perimeter of the island on the beach road.. took most of the day and two tanks of gas. Speed limits are 25 most places and 35 on the bet...

Re: Aftermarket rear pulley?

The rear pulley is actually two main parts, and both are still available brand new at your Honda Powersports dealer at very reasonable prices. If you don't have a dealer, you can buy them online.. check out: https://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/506ba3f3f870023420a20935/driven-face Sounds l...

Re: The Daily Chat

one of the men I ride scooters with in Florida has two Tomas mopeds... both apart and will probably never run again, but he bought them new and can't part with them..

Re: Official NS50F thread

I am envious.. you really did well. Mine has 70cc kit on it, and came with a performance pipe that had a narrow power band, and was too loud for my taste. I went back to the stock pipe, and it didn't seem to affect the top end.. the stock pipe has a wider power band. In my mind, the biggest downside...

Re: Official NS50F thread

The image disappeared.. I saw it there yesterday.. It is a very clean looking NS50F, with, I think, a factory lower shroud, but not a windshield, or tachometer. The paint and decals looked perfect, and I couldn't see any scratches or dents anywhere on it. Looked like it just came out of the showroom...

Re: Official NS50F thread

That is a nice one, better than mine. It looks very clean and seems to have the correct mirrors and turn signals, all very rare. If the rubber part of the right rear signal is broken as it appears, a close-up photo would be helpful. If it is broken, you may be able to repair it.. don't give up as th...

Re: Japan scooter and car spotting

Speaking of Jogs, here are some photos I took in a Yamaha showroom in Nagasaki yesterday: Here are two used ones.. The one in front has 25,895 Km on the clock and is priced at about $756 US. The one in the back with the nice basketization has 8,354 km on it and is priced at about $972 US. 37UsedJogs...

Re: Japan scooter spotting

In an odd coincidence, I find myself in Japan today..

Here is photo of a nicely basketized Gyro X, a McDelivery Gyro Canopy, and a factory basketized Bridgestone pedal trike that I spotted in Tokyo two days ago:

Re: Newbie from NY USA - stolen elite 150 story

The previous post looks legitimate.. Google Translate translates it as: "Good afternoon from Spain, I read the article "stolen history elite 150" seeing the photographs in which you discarded part of the elite ch 150, I thought you may still keep the handlebar cover and the visor, if so, the Questio...

Re: Gyro - general thread

Yes.. comes in three engine sizes.. 50cc, 150cc and 300cc. Doesn't tilt, and is just a simple trike with a GY6 engine. The engines are OK and you can get parts for the engine, but everything else on them pretty much breaks during the first three years and parts are tough to find. They come in many s...
