Re: newest scooter purchase tg50 project

harleyracer59,
Yes, you have a big problem.. LOL.. I do not know the cure.. but one sign of trouble is when your parts start stacking up in every room of your house instead of your shop..

Re: FS 84 Gyro and 85 Gyro S

The front basket arrived yesterday from GyroJoe. It is in very good shape. I removed the homemade basket that I had made for the blue Gyro, and put that basket on my red parts Gyro. Then I put the original Honda NN50 basket from GyroJoe on the blue Gyro. I think the only parts missing on the blue on...

It's my understanding from GyroJoe that both bikes were sold last weekend, and the 1984 gyro basket is in the mail to me. I'll post a new photo of my blue Gyro once the basketization has been completed..

Re: Honda gyro Leaking Oil

I agree.. that is not right. I have never seen that before. Have you made a continuous 20 mile ride yet, or will the engine always die because of too much oil before you get 20 miles? If you have done the 20 mile ride, and you still have oil in the cylinder, then I am out of ideas. Sorry you had to ...

Re: Honda gyro Leaking Oil

Make sure that the alignment mark lines up with index mark at full throttle when adjusting the throttle/oil pump cable. It is easy to get the pump to open wider than it should. The manual says not to exceed 1 millimeter too far open. I have never tried running with 3 mm too much open, so I don't kno...

The PM system used to email you when you got a PM, but it doesn't seem to any more..I still get emails from the system when someone posts to a t...

Re: Honda Scooters Available in Your Area

Saw this ad this morning for a wrecked parts Spree in Tampa. No mention of a title, but lot's of good stuff on it, including kickstarter:

Re: FS 84 Gyro and 85 Gyro S

Joe, When I saw this last post, I went to my PM mailbox, and it looks like I didn't send a PM. Nothing was in my sent folder or the outbox. I sent it again, and checked and nothing again. I was clicking on GyroJoe right below the title of your posting, and then sending you a PM from the next page, c...

First Annual Nature Coast Scooter Club Spring Ride - Florida

The Nature Coast Scooter Club is planning to have it's First Annual Spring Ride on Sunday, May 19, 2019, in Beverly Hills, Florida. Beverly Hills is in Citrus County about two hours north of Tampa and about 2 hours northwest of Orlando. I'm planning to go on the ride. It would be great if some of th...

Re: aero 50 belt

Loose is a vague term, but I think they should be as tight as a spree belt. Start by downloading the workshop manual at: http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Manuals/Honda_NB50_1985_Service_Manual.pdf There are a couple of photos of the belt in section 8 of that manual. It has been my experience that yo...

Honda 125 Elites in Santiago, Chile

I was in Santiago yesterday, and there were quite a few Honda 125 Elites running around. There aren't any Metropolitans or Ruckuses on the streets, and 50cc scooters in general are rare there. I went down to the Honda dealer to check out the 125 Elites. Here are some photos: This is a pair of new on...
