Re: Motor photos Only

Hi ECCB. That targa looks clean. :thumbwink: That Sprocket looks way bigger than stock? :naughty: Yeah, its a 28t and took quite a bit of grinding to fit. Sucker is quick though- I've been 52 on gps! How folks fit any bigger front sprockets is beyond me. I've got a stock Sprint that I got a 27 on w...

Re: Bought a 97 Elite S Today

Now that you have a trailer, we need to start planning a 50 CC Honda Florida meet-up. We need to find an interesting 50 mile loop in Florida on mostly 35 mph roads. DEFINITELY! Although- I don't really NEED a trailer for that. I'd likely show up on a Tomos, though :coolcruise: j/k I'm in Eustis.

Re: Bought a 97 Elite S Today

So you are the guy that drove down from Orlando and bought this from under me! The guy said you were offering more than asking price. I almost left work early to try to beat you to it but I was not able to. looks in great shape. IDk, I went down to Stuart for it. Was owned by a British woman. I pai...

Re: New 2007 Elite won't start.

I'd imagine with that low miles, the carb is probably gunked up inside. Never hurts to clean the carb and slap a new filter on it.

Re: Bought a 97 Elite S Today

Probably. The lil British lady who owned it even had deleted the oil injection. Its premix, as I prefer. I wouldn't be surprised if the variator washer had been removed already. It does 38 pretty easily. Maybe touches 40 with a slight downhill. No obvious visible mods to the airbox, but I'll investi...

Re: Bought a 97 Elite S Today

Yeah, I plan to do some tasteful modding. At least a pipe and upjet and some variator magic.

It gets to 35 QUICKLY!

Re: Bought a 97 Elite S Today

I've been looking for locals to meetup with! I've got a garage AND carport full of peds n scoots. It was raining all afternoon and night when I got home with this baby, but in the short bit I did ride it around... It feels GREAT. I knew I'd be in love, but man this scoot is exactly what I've been lu...

Bought a 97 Elite S Today

I've been buying and fixing lots of Tomos stuff lately, but when I saw this pop up a couple hours away, I went for it. She's all original, garage kept, and has 1869 miles. I'm stoked!

Re: Elite CH80 Mod Project

Yeah post some pics. I've tried one of the Ebay carbs from that same seller. It was alright for the money. I'd love to have better though. http://www.treatland.tv/v/vspfiles/photos/wallaroo-white-monoshock-280-2T.jpg That honda shock I was talking about for $48 from treatland. I'm probably gonna get...

Re: Elite CH80 Mod Project

Nice. Ive been enjoying my ch80 since I fixed my clutch for good. Kevlar belt, kevlar relined shoes, and 8.5gr rollers is a nice combo! G9 is supposedly working on finding me some custom springs for the front suspension, and Treatland has Wallaroo shocks for only $48! They look to be a perfect fit f...

Re: Installing Big Bore

Do some plug chops and also double check for air leaks after you get rid of the oil injection.

Re: Motor photos Only

New side cover without oil injection bulge and an oem head I did a bit of cleanup and a repaint on. I even went the extra mile and popped in a new Polini crank seal. :2thumbs:
