Re: How Loud should the Honda Spree be?
Well, bad news.. although I find it interesting... I bought this damned scooter a few weeks ago and have had nothing but problems-- worst thing is I paid way too much for it! Regardless: this haunted spree has had me in yet another surprise. First thing, there is not a gasket between my freshly inst...

How Loud should the Honda Spree be?
So I have an 85 Honda Spree, and she is LOUD! She turns heads everywhere and the whole neighborhood can hear her from inside their houses. I can barely hear any outside noise when I'm riding her.
How loud should she be?

There was someone who purchased this kit to learn that the cylinder wasn't honed very well-- I tore off the new cylinder and stuck back on my old one. I can sure feel the difference in compression with the new piston. She'll move smoothly now, but she still gives me trouble! She sounds better than b...

85 Honda Spree, Piston difficult to move after rebuild
Hi! So I just rebuild the top end of my 1985 Honda Spree after finding out that my piston had some pretty awful scores in it. I even decarbed the exhaust to the extreme and she's near completely free of any carbon. But after installing the a new stock top end, its hard to get her to hand crank, its ...

My 1985 Honda Spree is no longer running! Start issues,,
So I've been through a lot with this 1985 Honda Spree that I acquired about a week and a half ago.. First things first, I bought it on Craigslist and have never been able to get her quite running too well.. After a new battery, a new air filter, and a quick cleaning of the gas tank, I had her runnin...
