Re: Removing stuck cylinder on Express SR
I bore cylinders for HD's daily and the advice above is dead on.The same shop you take it to can measure the bore taking scoring into consideration. You may need a second or even third over to get a good seal.

No power on Elite
I will grant this post is motivated by pure laziness but hey I am old and hoping someone with more Honda experience than me has a magic bullet answer. When installing a new battery in my recently aquired 99 low miles SA50 Elite I have no tailight no dash light or horn or starter.Fuse near battery che...

Af16 value
Got an interesting situation that poses this question.Bought a 97 Sa50 for a hundred bucks off c/l.Has spark and 130#s of compression.Body fair.Needed some lenses and the lower skirts and any better plastic than on first so I ran a c/l wtb ad for a parts bike with real good plastics including the su...

Re: spree vacuum valve keeps getting stuck open and closed
All excellent advise sounds like it's likely an air leak.If it has set for twenty yrs.I would replace crank seals as a matter of course. They dry out and crack. For the sake of long term reliability I always replace them in old 2t's.Also I use an unlit propane torch around manifold, carb and airbox con...

Re: Nibbi carb
I am trying to gather info somewhat unsuccessfully but some of what I have observed is I "believe" the pe is a round slide and the Pwk is a flat slide. But that sure could be wrong.I have sent an email to someone who says he's the US rep but no reply.I would like to get a number a talk with...

Re: It won't start - wet spark plug
How long did the bike sit since it ran?I have to go along with Mike and add to that.A recently purchased SA 50 I dragged home not only did that but the check valve on the oil injection apparently failed and absolutely filled the crankcase with it's own premix.I pulled the plug and Cvt cover and spin...

Re: Nibbi carb
They are under 50 bucks for the pe.The black is powder coat.To be honest with everyone here we build racing and street 500 and 650 Yamahas. This started as a way to finance our racing but we picked up a partner selling our service and cams, carbs, pipes, ignitions for them. Now the vintage flat track sce...
