Polini Clutch Spring ID help
Hey somehow I broke a stock clutch spring the other day for my SpreeDio, and a local shop helped me out by giving me some springs left over from a polini kit them had. The springs fit perfect and definitely look like the right springs. The only problem is neither me nor the shop can figure out what ...

Does it rev uncontrollably at idle? Have you checked for air leaks?

Re: Cutting the intake center support AF16
Thank you kind sir.
I guess I'll run it then, and if I ever have the case open again, get it welded. One more thing, is it possible to get a definition of "overheat"

I was porting the intake on my AF16 case and through inattention cut through the center support on the intake. How bad is it? So if I can fit it under stock plastics and no variator I'm golden? Does Flintstone power count to get it started off the line?
Also as far as Alan Milyard I don't think he thinks in the right units, this is a 49cc engine not a 49 gallon one

At what point is it not a Spree anymore? Fastest Spree
I've gotten myself into an interesting situation. I FINIALLY got a chance to build a SpreeDio and I am left with a GK8 (spree) engine and I am going to school as a machinist. I need a capstone project to finish out the year with and I'm trying to figure out what I should do. I have a chance to attem...

Re: RazZuma?
What the * have I made!?!?! I took it for a few rides over the weekend and it took a while to get used to. Before I think about applying any amount of throttle I have to made sure the front wheel will stay down. And since it's a new motor I haven't gone over about 1/3 throttle! I will take some pict...

Re: RazZuma?
It's going to be pretty fun. The razz probably has similar power numbers to my old Ninja 250 but is about 260 pounds lighter. Too bad I have to work today...

Re: RazZuma?
It lives! I've been working on the bike today and got it running consistently. I have to remake one of my engine mounts to double as a shock mount for the new shock. Once the mount is done i can ride it !

Re: My JPS/ Ricer '86 Spree
You get a bit of downforce with that wing? I get upwards of 4,00 atto Newtons of downforcez directly to the rear wheel! Also this weekend I was messing with the spacers in the front pulley and got to 51.6 mph on my Garmin on the flat and level. However, this top speed came with CATASTROPHIC acceler...

Re: RazZuma?
So this weekend i spent about five hours trying to get it started again . Turns out the coil is shot. It must have been on its last legs when I started it before. In the service manual it says spec for the coil is .21 to .42 ohms at room temperature, it was at 1.4 ohms. Oh well. Should i get a razz ...

Re: Performance 2.75-10 Tire - is there such a thing?
The Kenda one in that size is pretty good, really cheap, decent wear, good grip. The Hoop is pretty soft, more grippy, heavier casing, wear is slightly worse than the kenda, but pretty good still, only down side is price, but its not bad. The S1 is probably the best, but it's near impossible to get ...
