I hope this is the right place to post this question, hopefully elite and spree are similar. had this '84 elite 80, ran fine. then about 2 years ago started doing this: started ok, then shut down after 3-4 minutes and unable to restart. now I have time to work on it but I don't know what to do. ...

which is the item? do you also have elite ch 80?

thanks. from what i read there, it looks like it might also be an issue with the bystarter, causing it to run to lean

Hello guys! my elite 80 is starting hard when cold. it takes a while to start and then, after start, it will barely idle and sometimes stop by itself. if i try to rev it, as soon as I open the throttle the engine stalls. the only way to have it running is to let it idle for a long while and then * t...
