I was just checking out parts on Ebay and I keep coming across these performance coils.
Tempting because of the price but concerned about tweeking a 32yr old scoot.

A little over a year ago I found a 85 Aero 80 one owner 2400 mile storage shed find. Mint condition other than rusted wheels and rear rack. The challenge has been to get a title for it being that it was never registered in the state of Florida. After almost giving up, I met a guy who restores vintag...

Yesterday my speedometer just stopped working. The odometer continues to log miles even though I have no indication of speed.
There a screw where the cable meets the front wheel. The cable appears to be connected correctly.

Any ideas?

Its a one owner family scooter. Split in a divorce but clearly family owned.
I've got all the paperwork, going to start the phone calls and paperwork tomorrow.

I don't think it's going to be a walk in the park.

Last registered in IL... FL has no record of it.
The bike has been in storage for the last 20yrs.

I just picked up an Aero 80 mint with no title myself.

Just starting the process now...
I've got a mc tag good till May on it now!

I didn't realize there are virtually zero parts for this thing...

Outside of the wheels and rear luggage rack, it looks showroom new.
