Re: Polini jet size for BBK & MLM

Mirror mount wouldn't be so bad I suppose. Just don't want to drill any un-needed holes in the plastics. The original plastic on my scoot was worn out and almost all the tabs were cracked. Rather then dink around on eBay trying to find replacement plastics, I had the guys at SS Collision & Cycle...

Re: Polini jet size for BBK & MLM

I'd do a temp gauge, but for aesthetic reasons, I don't want to have any extra stuff mounted on it. Wish someone made aftermarket gauge clusters that fits flush where the speed/gas/turn/etc gauges sit now with options like temp, tach, etc.

Re: spree kick start panel painting

I've just done a set of AF18 covers in Matt black. Gave them a quick scuff with some 240 wet and dry, cleaned them down and then a couple of coats. I reckon if you knock the scratches down, sand as much of them out as you can then spray it with some matt or semi gloss silver metallic you'll be pret...

Re: Video Games ??--??

I am into the Arcade Classics. I built my very first M.A.M.E. arcade cabinet almost 15 years ago and played the h--double hockeystick out of it. Last year I built a koktail version for my son with Autism. Enjoy nothing better then playing a little head to head pacman or donkey kong jr. with him. Her...

Re: spree kick start panel painting

If you do plan on painting it though, I'd suggest using some VHT (Very High Temp) paint on it. Heat won't be too much of an issue, but the VHT paint will ensure you get a longer life out of the paint without any flaking or other anomalies later on down the line when it meets it's HDUL (Heat Deflecti...

Polini jet size for BBK & MLM

Just like the title says. I'm planning on going with the 19mm Polini carb kit for my Spree, already have the 48mm BBK & MLM sidebleeder pipe. Should I go with the same jet size (90), that ships with the BBK, or a different size?

At work, but to be quick, the first picture tells the tale. I'm sure someone will explain here in a bit.
