Re: Looking to get spree into the 40+ MPH range.

Kinda like the 2nd option myself. And $300-400 to get from 25 to 40 is an underestimate. It's more like $500-600. Completely not worth it considering what you'll get for that money. Not to mention you are gonna have to hunt high and low, and probably wait quite a while before all the needed parts ca...

That front fender, wheels, and rear tail light on the Honda Today is very Spree looking. I dig it.

Re: 1991 Honda Elite

$100 is a steal, even without a title. GRAB IT NOW, if not just for the engine alone!!! Easy flip by parting it out. If titled, do a restore. My personal rule is titled:restore, untitled:flip. Price accordingly.

Honda offered 3 sizes for the Spree. #62, #65, & #68. I'd go no lower then a #62.

Re: Replaced Battery, Wont start. IT WILL turn over.

Soak it in a tiny crockpot overnight on low, with some pinesol and a couple scoops of oxyclean. Soap and water will not break down the varnish buildup.

Re: SB50P Carburetor vs NQ50

Yeah, somethings going on. Hopefully you picked up noiseguy's kit. It has a new exhaust gasket in it along with the intake ones. That doesn't appear to be from oil, it's only on the muffler side, so yep, probably leaking. As sorry of a shape it was when you got it, wouldn't surprise me if you crack ...

96:1 in your tank, retain the oil pump. Don't install BBK unless you install intake adapter first.

Re: I bought these locally from someone moving at their garage sale

That's the aftermarket kit alright, with a 44mm BBK. The instructions on it are useless and wrong, but otherwise, it looks to be intact.

Re: SB50P Carburator vs NQ50

Am I going to need some gaskets too, then? Yes, and you can get them pretty cheap from the site admin's eBay page here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/142207616725 Also, you might wanna clean up the intake and reeds I sent you a little better. It was an extra I picked up a long while back, so I never too...

Re: WTB Various Spree Panels.

So, you're looking for just side panels, and what... petcock cover? Or do you need everything? I'd just colormatch Honda sparkling red. Any 84-86 model year will work for you.
