Re: What rpm are you getting clutch engagement?

God, I only wish I could have a 4k launch on mine. Such is the life of a Spree engine.

Re: What rpm are you getting clutch engagement?

Mine engages around 2600 rpm. I use 2500 rpm Leo Vince Jog springs. If your engaging at 4500, your clutch pads either need to be scuffed up or replaced. Or possibly, you need a belt replacement. 4500 rpm on mine, I'm already past 20mph. I use 15:81 gears though. On yours, you should be doing at leas...

Re: Aftermarket top end issues

That's pretty much every top end kit for the Spree found on eBay and Amazon. Rings are always junk. For future reference, you can still buy the rings from your Honda dealer locally or online. Part number is: 13011-GAB-305
Should run you around $20 or so. Plus shipping and taxes of course.

Re: New spree owner What and Where Tires

Your local tire store should be able to get them for you as well. My recommendation is the Kenda K329. Comes in both 10x2.50 and 10x2.75. It's what I use on both of my Spree's.

Re: 85 Spree No click

If you are holing the brake handle down when you try, a sticking/rusted starter pinion comes to mind. Might need to pull it out, sand it smooth, regrease and try again. Maybe even bench test the starter. If you do a bench test and it's not working come back here we can for sure lead you to the parts...

Re: ****Official Picture Post...The Sequel****

That white one is an 84' (at least that's what the side graphics indicate). And are you looking to sell that top box? Does it have the keys? I've been looking for an original luggage box and original windshield for my 86'.

Re: Can someone recommend some aftermarket mirrors for Honda Spree

You can usually find OEM mirrors on eBay or Amazon. Find a set here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NF17DQT The main thing I personally have trouble with, is they are usually too small (short) for my personal taste to view anything out of, so what I did is buy a couple riser extenders: https://www.ama...

Re: FREE Spree carb parts

Message received, parts are on the way. WYSIWYG. The idle jet needle, as you can see, is there. If anybody is looking for a bowl (hah... bowl.. ), still have that and the carb itself too available. Will have another carb available soon, the next one will be 100% complete and rebuilt by me. Ha...

FREE Spree carb parts

The parts came from the carb in this topic: http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=35939 Tried drilling out that pilot, got pretty far but chickened out getting the final bits out for fear of destroying the carb. Figured to heck with it, not worth my time since I use Polini carbs and this ...

Re: I can't believe that thing even ran!!!

This is just getting to be down right hilarious now. After getting over the shock of the insides of the carb, flipped it over and undid the bystarter and throttle..hmm... yup, bystarter probs and wow... found the main jet!!

Re: 86 Spree NQ50 Fast Idle

Bystarter/Auto choke is probably bad. Have you tested it? Probably rusted on the inside so it's sticking.
