Re: Problem running out of the blue
Yes it is the sport cast. My main might not be that high, I really can't remember it's been like a month since I changed em out. I tried going lower on idle but had problems with it idling though I think I had an air leak then that believe is fixed now. I read a lot of stories of people burning up t...

Re: Problem running out of the blue
I haven't touched weights or springs, all stock cept for belt carb and bbk. I've been holding off carb tuning until I get my temp gauge sorted but last I remember idle is 45 and main is like 110. I know main is little high and been thinking I should probably move needle one notch to lean. I just got...

Problem running out of the blue
I've had the bbk on for quite while now and put about 400+ miles on so far, runs great but I know its little rich and still need to tweek the carb. Anyways I go to my college orientation Monday night and on the way home about half a mile I lose all power, it bogs really hard and sputters. I limp it ...

Re: Transmission/belt noise
I gave it another shot but i seem to be missing something and not sure what. I put the gear back on just like in this picture from the wiki but it still doesnt seem right. I ended up just removing the little cap on the right for now and back to using the electric start so i could test drive the new ...

Removed the belt re-tightened everything correctly..If I electric start with the cover off..holding the starting gear in place so it doesnt move and hit the drive face everyt...

Re: Transmission/belt noise
Just installed new polini belt and 9:1 gears and noticed this noise when I rev. Is this something to be concerned about or noise to be expected with changes made? https://youtu.be/QkiwXBOvKug You should remove the kicker cover and inspect before running it again. You may have tightened the front pu...

Re: Transmission/belt noise
Ok, ill take it apart and look at it. Not sure what could be causing it, i only took drive pulley off and right.back on for new belt. Took clutch off and right back on after I put in new gears. The polini belt I bought does says it's a performance belt and wider than stock, would that cause the sound?
