Re: Recommend a good scooter battery charger

Pretty much any automotive trickle charger will work. Up to you on how "cheap" you want to go. Whenever I buy anything I decide on how good I want it to perform and how long I need it to last. I can get away with dirt cheap stuff from Harbor Freight SOME of the time but if I plan on using...

Recommend a good scooter battery charger

I think it's time I have one of these at my place so I don't have to call a mechanic the next time I need a jump. (Sometimes my scoot sits a while and the battery drains. And it drains fast too so I'll probably put a new battery in soon) I see there's a bunch on amazon but I wanted to get recommenda...

First time buying new tires for Honda Spree

I'm getting new tires for my Spree and wanted to know what tires any if you use and if you put them on yourself or take them to someone to do it. And I know they need tubes as well, so the same questions goes for the tubes as well.

When I get my Spree running and I'm used to riding it that would be pretty awesome!

I'm 23. I'm like the baby in this thread. Everyone is so much older than me! Even my scooter is older than me! x'D

Failing starter?

Hi all! So last post I made was about trouble shooting my carb. It was flooding, I got it to not flood and actually took it out for a ride. It sounded fine, even after I had my fender bender with it. I left home for a few days, came back, and now it won't start. Not Even turn over. Before it would t...

Re: Now I'm a proud owner of a 86' Honda spree!

A great specimen! Welcome to the addiction we call sprees :-) I kinda like the Honda down the front fender Right? It was the best I could find in California. One other was in better condition but was much too far away. Haha this definitely is! I want more of them! I have to get this one running fir...

Re: Getting a new key OR repairing original key for Honda Sp

Take the bent key to your local honda powersports dealer. They will have Honda key blanks in stock, and can punch you a new key to match your lock if your old key is an original key and still has the key code stamped on the key. Otherwise get a blank at Honda and take it and the bent key to Walmart...

I had the original and always cut spares
I took it to ace hardware to get cut.

There's an Ace right down the street from me. Sounds perfect! Thanks!

Re: Massive Honda Spree Restoring Project - Check it out!

Hot d*** that's a lot of SPREE ACTION! Really inspires me to restore mine. I think a lot of the parts on mine are stock, so I'd try to keep it that way. Though the carb and I think the starter are giving out. How much did all this cost you dude? For one maybe not too much, that's really some impress...

Now I'm a proud owner of a 86' Honda spree!

I finally got her home and I had some free time, so I took some pics so I can show her off. Although I took these before my fender bender, so she has a few new scuffs that aren't in these pictures. I'll try and buff them out and find some matching paint if I can. There's a few parts missing as well,...
