Re: Taz Gears on bottom end?

IÔÇÖm using everything that comes in the kit and itÔÇÖs working awesome. Have it working real good. I plan on trying to do something gear wise. Might get another spree and do a motor swap on that one so I can have a couple to play with

I have a 85 with bbk, Taz carb and intake kit, mlm pipe, everything is dialed in perfect. Just want some more topend.

Taz Gears on bottom end?

I have a BBK spree with an aftermarket carb and intake and it goes good. Looking at the gears for more topend just wondering how much it takes away from the bottom end? Will I be flinstoning it?

Re: Decal Removal

Plastic razor blades work real well for decal removal, use a heat gun on low or a hair bryer and get it warm and scrap it off gently. Then to remove residue use some goof off adhesive remover.

Everything is stock besides the mlm pipe and a 70 main jet. Bounced back and forth between the 68 and 70 ...

Re: Polini on stock motor?

I'll pass on it then just thought it would be a little better than the stock one. I'll wait till I wanna do the bbk to dive into that. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Polini on stock motor?

Alright thanks. I was looking at the 17mm just wasn't sure if you could make the throttle cable work or if it was easier to just run the new one. What would be a comparable main jet from the stock 68 to the polini size? Thanks for the quick response just sitting in the garage and tinkering with some...

Polini on stock motor?

Anyone just upgraded to a polini that doesn't have a bbk? I'd like to kick the keihin to the curb, just wanna know what people have run and had good luck with. Any advice or input greatly appreciated.

Seeking MLM pipe advice ATTENTION PTSG

Patthesoundguy: is there anyway to gain back some of the low end with the mlm on?
Top end is t*ts, but the low end is a slug. Any advice great.
