First I've finally been able to get my spree to run consistent for short bouts. I haven't put any of the plastics on yet and i heard that not putting on the fan shroud and cylinder topper are asking it to soft seize ..... ive been trying to not run it to long. But there is a lot of smoke coming from...

Also i forgot to add there is a decent amount of oil residue around the exhaust flange would this be hinting at a bad gasket?

Found time to work on it today....and nothing, still the smae thing. Very hard to get it to start to fire then when it starts it takes a long time to get it to run and then it dies out in under a minute. Could it be that the oil pump is broke or something and the mix is getting too saturated? IT oil...

......Thats gotta be what it is...cause that plug was dirty as all get up...I'm gonna try that later in the week thank you!

Haha oh boy..uhhh, what should it be? I had a gallon and i mixed in 4oz oil..thats a 32:1 right is that good?

Piston is not on backwards just checked, EX is facing the exhaust...Any other ideas im really stumped here.

I got a shaft problem boys... I would post a pic but the file size is too big, i have a crankshaft inside of a case and there is a little rust on it... Would I be able use this crankshaft with no problem? Just pour more oil in there and sit back? Acquired these from an elderly fellow who had it sitt...

Is this in anyway a fuel problem??

I have spark. Fuel is getting there via petcock and vacuum is established. That leaves compression..Too...

Alrighty, I will go re check that throttle. But the part of me putting oil in the plug hole..is that a permanent fix or should i take apart the cylinder and re lube it all? Comp tests are coming back at 90 btw.

WE HAD A START! hahaha that makes everything feel better! To start i changed the reed cage and intake manifold, there is no longer air escaping there. Compression test after this only gave me 10 psi boost leaving me with 60. Put some premix primer into the plug hole....nothing. Was getting fed up......
