Range of costs for professional paint jobs?
I need to repaint my daughters 84 Spree (see all my previous questions :eyeroll: . By the time I buy 'good' paint (Spraymax 2K, or Plutonium, or PPG aerosol), the adhesion promoter, degreaser prep, sandpaper, masking tape, clear coat, etc, I will be in well over $100 before I even start. I see kits but they don't appear to include the outer left cover gasket. I can make one although I generally don't like doing that for a gasket that big ...

CB900F - That looks sweet! What paints did you use? Did you use an adhesion promoter?

Re: How has your repaint held up?
I paint motorcycles professionally for a living, in fact, I really need to get going to work here in a bit so I don't have time to cover many of the bases right now, but I do have some suggested reading on one of the other forums I frequent. The topic can be found here: http://49ccscoot.proboards.c...

How has your repaint held up?
There's a lot of information about just finished repaints, but for those of you that have repainted your Spree how has it stood up now that some time has elapsed and it has been subjected to use? Did the paint adhere well? Did it fade? Was it sufficiently resistant to wear and gas/oil? What would yo...
