Re: Lost elite key

Don't have the other scoots anymore. I haven't been on in a while and had not updated my sig. I am just trying to figure out a way that will be fast and cost effective to get the scooter running so I can get it back to my building.

Re: Lost elite key

The scooter does not have a kickstart (missing kick lever) and the closest honda dealer is 1 hr. away. I am living on-campus and have no way to transport the scooter non-running.

Lost elite key

Looking at buying a 97 elite for $325. The owner lost the keys, so I want to know if it is possible to just jam a screwdriver into the ignition to start it. A whole new set of locks is $60 from honda, and I believe it will be more to have a locksmith make a key for it without having a key to copy. I...

A new airbox assembly from the dealer is close to $100. How would I be able to restrict the uni?

Re: Razz won't run without choke

I got a new gasket for the exhaust so there is no leak there. I was unable to get the used exhaust pipe as it was already sold, so I patched all the holes on the exhaust with small pieces of metal and some jb weld. This thing is soooo much quieter now. I have moved the needle clip back into the stoc...

Re: Razz won't run without choke

Razz won't run without choke

I am fixing a 1997 yamaha razz. It didn't have an air filter so i got a uni air filter. It will only run with half or full choke at no more than half throttle. If you go over half throttle, it bogs down and it seems like it misses where the motor will run and then quit. I didn't do an actual plug ch...

I have heard of people using Yamaha pw50 dirt bike tires. They have aggressive tread that might help you, although I would have to assume that it will hurt your take-off and top speed.
