Running very rich '85 NQ50
Need yet more help. I've rebuilt many motorcycles and scooters, and I wouldn't consider myself a novice, but this one has me stumped. My '85 NQ50 was running very well after I initially rebuilt the carburetor. I'd say I rode it around 50 miles or so without a complaint. It would light right up with ...

Re: 1985 NQ50 Starter pinion bushing
Thanks for the advice guys. I actually poked around with it for awhile and figured it out. A properly sized ez-out will catch the bushing and suprisingly easily turn the bushing out...relatively unharmed. I used some calipers to check the runout of the bushing and found that there was a 0.2mm "...

1985 NQ50 Starter pinion bushing
Need a bit more help. The starter pinion on my '85 NQ50 failed such that it would stick in the "engaged" position. This condition led to the starter pinion bushing (the one in the block) to wallow out. I replaced the pinion with a well functioning used one, but since the bushing is worn, I...

Clutch Wear - 1985 NQ50
Can someone confirm for me that my clutch pads are worn. I have no idea what they looked like when they were new, so I'm not sure how worn they are. The service manual states 1.5mm, but doesn't very well describe what actually gets measured...metal (shoe) to pad surface? https://i.imgur.com/gfCPa5r....

Re: For sale: Spree Floor Mats, Petcock Covers, Battery Cove
Do you have a petcock cover retaining tab ÔÇ£L-tabÔÇØ available separately? My cover is in good shape but I'm missing the tab.
Thanks,
Chris
