Are they really?noiseguy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:31 pmThey're not. Much more common in colder areas where they don't get ridden that much.benji wrote:Cleeeeaaaan for $350. I'm betting sprees are all over Florida, just cuz of the weather and the old folks bringing em down on the backs of RVs when the retire down there.

Re: This is why Sprees and Elites have no resale value
In Florida, I am finding it easy to buy a Spree for $500 US and very difficult to sell one for the same price. My usual deal is I buy a nice one for $450, spend $200 to fix what is wrong with it and to cherry it up (typically putting on new tires, getting it running right, perhaps replacing an elec...

Re: Removing the tab in the Elite S air cleaner housing cove
My first SA50p went exactly 25 and no faster. Derestricted it went 38-40 and with a Keli variator it hits 42. I would recommend a Keli variator on a derestricted stock elite to anyone, itÔÇÖs a notable improvement mostly in the mid range if you can find one.

Honda Elite S Decals
I noticed there was a collection of some great spree decal photos on this forum and I was wondering if anyone has some of the Elite S panel decals imaged?

I have a Keli variator, sef ramp plate, 1k clutch spring, 9:1 gears, 82 main jet and it goes. Make sure exhaust washer is drilled out and open the second tab in the intake.

Just swap on a Contessa and youÔÇÖll get there. Ask Wheelman.

What do you think about trying an Elite shirt? I think you could make it look pretty great if you did this Spree one and I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Re: I am stumped... Suzuki FA50 problems please help
Greetings: Yes, there's likely an oily mess if a seal is weak at high RPM. By no means is this the only possibility. Obstructions to high flow that don't affect idle and low-speed operation can include intake, carb fuel obstructions - even a fuel filter - and exhaust crud. Another hunch based on pe...

Re: I am stumped... Suzuki FA50 problems please help
Greetings: Coming late to this, sorry. I don't see that you have performed a compression check anywhere? The condition of the crank seals - one is hidden behind the flywheel, is open to question. If a little weak, it might idle just fine but leak as the pressures rise with higher output conditions....

Yes, and I have put in a new plug.noiseguy wrote:Wait... issue followed from old carb to new carb? So that's not the issue then.
Did you check the electric / spark? New plug, etc? It has to be either the electrical system or the exhaust.
