In that pic it sortof hard to tell what you did. mine is a 84 and it looks like it could flow all the that the carb could and i dont see nothing to file.

My spree is an 86 and i have a 84 parts motor the the only diff. is the 86 has the solid pulley where the 84 had the one with fins on it. 87 is the same as the 86 as far as front pulley. and the crank is the same size on all sprees.

I see gyros on ebay all the time. last week some guy was sell a lot of over 250 gyros and about 50 sprees. most where complete and he had hunderds of boxes of parts and plastics. I think it sold for about $1000. it was insane how many he colected. Be a pain to get home though

ok thanks. I think i will cut it open this weekend and remove build up and if you think it will make a difference i will remove 4 inches and weld the back back on.

I have no side case on but it seems like the belt is fairly loose . do you know how long the belt should be.

i am currently filing my intake and thinking about a boost bottle. has vette got his working? do you think its worth it or would it shorten the life of the spree to much?

What i no they are good but im only 14 and have a 85 toyota 4x4. On are s-10 we dragrace we ran glass packs but racing them made them burn out to fast so we just welded some used flowmasters to the end of the glass packs.

Since this wont be on the road do you think i should try removing them? Would it messup the back presure? Do you know any one who has done this?
