Re: Looking for Air cleaner lid

Has anyone tried a plastic mold? Any proven alternatives? It seems this part is pretty scarce.

2 different exhausts, same year bikes

This may be a goofy question, but i just noticed i have 2 different exhausts from the same year. Obviously they may have been switched at some point from the past owners. The numbers are gk80049 & gk80050. Quite a difference in size...is one an Iowa pipe? I did check the vin to see if one was an Iow...

Re: green wires connected to the carb

Update; its running now. One thing that kept the starter from spinning was the kickstart spindle piece, which i just took out for now. Got it up to around 25 and it kinda scoots quick, i dont recall my last spree from 2008-2010 going as quickly, although top speed was higher. Now to buy replacement ...

Re: green wires connected to the carb

Thank you, I will dig into the issue further when I get a chance. I suppose I'll start from the ignition and work my way down. Any other input is appreciated. Also, the bystarter delete doesn't seem like a manual choke. Its a screw in the top. I tried to pull up and push down. Unless it's stuck, im ...

Re: green wires connected to the carb

I had a few minutes to check the issues. The second spree, when i turned the key, the tail light lit up without starting it. Still need to figure the other spree because it does nothing when i put in the battery. Must be some screwy wires somewhere 🤔
