Re: af05e malossi bbk and s23 slick willy pipe jetting
I was running Malossi BBK, Slick Willy Stock Car/Airbox and Injection pump on a 90 jet and it still seemed a little on the rich side, I put a polini CP 19mm and S23 pod on it not too long ago however and I'm still trying to get it just right

Re: What size carb?
The Malossi is stock stroke and the corsa is designed for a stock stroke so it’s perfect without any additional gaskets just use what’s in the kit. The jet won’t fit the Polini carb and never run a Champion spark plug in your scooter. NGK always. BR8HS is perfect. The corsa does not like rich jetti...

Re: What size carb?
I guess I never actually recommended a carburetor. I will assume you don’t want your scooter to sound like a full out race bike and if you put an OKO or Polini flat-slide carb on there it will do just that. The ncy pipe and an oem style 19mm carb setup with some kind of an airbox will get you to ab...

Re: What size carb?
Greetings: There was a time on this Forum when everyone would cheer for a 28mm OKO. It turns out, the top end might (arguably) be OK, but it was a Bear to tune at idle and midrange. Then Folks discovered that smaller carbs, certainly nothing bigger than a 24 would give just as much top end and be M...

Re: What size carb?
Yup! That is the one. I spray paint mine with hi temp (4000 deg.) header paint-flat black. Looks “stock” and I like having the extra rust barrier. Have fun dude and be safe 😎 Thank you Mr. Bones, I will update you with pictures when I get it all in and running, luckily the warm weather spout alread...

Re: What size carb?
Go with the NCY pipe. Very affordable. It doesn’t require super hi-rpm’s to work well. If you want all-out snap your neck back take-off power, the arrow is one of the best! Expensive for a daily-driver and it is susceptible to early self-destruction due to inert design fragility. It’s a loud as f__...

Re: What size carb?
You will want to match up the carb/exhaust pipe to reach the powerband of the corsa. Choose your exhaust pipe to match the corsa then choose the carb is how I would do that. Choice of gear ratio is also going to be a factor in the tuning but the rider weight will also have to be a consideration to ...

What size carb?
I recently acquired an AF16 and I plan on doing a Malossi full circle crank, paired with a Polini Corsa and an S23 intake manifold, gears and etc. What size carb would be sufficient for this setup? Something over 19mm I would assume?
Thanks in advance

Re: Benji's 87 elite se50
Sorry man. I already used them on my dj1 build. It’s finished and up for sale here in California. What’s up Mike. Long time no talk. Just seeing this somehow, that thing looks really good, I've since found a JDM tail for a pretty reasonable price on Buyee. I also seen a whole DJ1 panel set for appr...

Re: Elite SE50 Mods
Those are stock wheels on the Japanese model "Honda Dio ZX Live" Thank you! Will the rear wheel just bolt right up to a stock AF05E? Also I found a G Dash whole front assembly on an auction site, but I'm not sure how to get it to me, since they won't ship it due to it being apart of their...

Re: Benji's 87 elite se50
Yes, hence the word "headset" not headlight. IE whole assembly or "set" And correct tail light will need JDM rear trim/panel. You should start getting those parts soon they are getting harder to find even in japan. These bikes are kinda considered trash now days. 4T is the new t...

Re: 1987 honda elite SE50 ramp plate
As a side note on this thread, the unrestricted version also has a different gear ratio 10.2:1 vs. 11.1:1. I'm getting 42 (I used the technigas pipe which is better than the unrestricted pipe, but not my much) before changing the gear ratio which should net 3-4 more mph. when you changed gear ratio...
