I think I need a new crank
There is a lot of play in the shaft that the variator sits on, I believe that is the crank please correct me if I’m wrong I’ll attach a image of it. If it is the crank what should I replace it with? I have a AF16 and I was probably just going to buy a new crankshaft off scooter swap shop but I wante...

Re: Not getting fuel help!
There is fuel in the bowl, sorry for being confusing but I recently opened the float drain and fuel came out. I’m thinking the bowl needs to be filled more to start, I’ve heard it takes a while to fill it from empty. Or there just isn’t enough vacuum to start it. I’ve confirmed, the float needle and...

Re: Not getting fuel help!
Update: After kicking a couple times I can confirm there is fuel in the bowl although it only seems like it’s trickling in. Haven’t got it to start yet but I’m gonna hit it with some starter fluid and see what happens.

Re: Not getting fuel help!
Additionally, fuel does flow from the tank when it’s disconnected from the carb but not when it’s connected.

Re: Not getting fuel help!
Ok so I replaced the vacuum and fuel lines as well as a fuel filter and made sure it was all down hill. I also cleaned the carb and I highly doubt the float is stuck. I kick it and I see only a trickle of fuel come out, it’s not even getting to the bowl. What does this mean, where should I start?

Re: Not getting fuel help!
It’s polini and I don’t think the float is stuck although I’ll probably still check it and clean the carb. I initially thought no fuel at all came through the lines at all but maybe there is. I’ll hit it with starter fluid tomorrow and get back.

Not getting fuel help!
1988 Honda Elite AF16 swap The last thing I have to do to my scooter is jet the carb and half way through the process the scooter stopped starting. I look at the fuel filter when I kickstart it and no fuel comes through but when I take the fuel line off the carb and kick fuel comes out. Why is fuel ...

AF16- Recommendations for aftermarket brake pads?
Was wondering if I could make my brakes slightly better with some malossi pads or another aftermarket brand? If you can provide a link that would be rad.
Thanks,
Casper

Wheels for Af16
Anyone know a good website to buy wheels? It would be cool to get some aftermarket ones or something but I’m fine with oem. Then my second question is would this fit on the rear of a AF16? https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/42650-GEV-000ZA?gclid=CjwKCAiApvebBhAvEiwAe7mHSJs3O5K9nP1yGrhDkz1NNPTnH...

Af16 on Sb50- rear suspension fab
I’m ready to start working on swapping my af16 onto my 88 elite e. I have found plenty of info online about fabrication for the motor mount but I can’t find anything for the rear suspension. Can someone send me a link to a build or tell me how I should do it please?
Thanks,
Casper

Transmission tuning AF16
On my AF16 I have a Malossi 72cc bbk, arrow exhaust, and polini 24mm carb. I’m getting a new variator and clutch soon and I was wondering what rollers, clutch springs and contra spring should I get if I want a higher top speed? Also was thinking about getting a DIO ZX trans swap or is that just a wa...

AF05 kickstart on a AF16?
My AF16 I am currently fixing up and building came in pretty bad shape and did not have a kickstarter or any of the components. I have a AF05 in pretty good condition and was wondering if I could use the kickstarter from that on my af16. Thanks,
Casper
