Just got a 1984 Ch125. Changed engine oil with 15w-40 since I had it from my CT90. I read that the manual states both engine and gear oil are the same being 10w-30. Is this so? I understand that you lose that low end speed or torque by installing the speed pulley. Does it absolutely fail to get you up steeper hills when this is installed? Also heard it wears down belts faster is this true? Would like the extra speed but there’s hills I go down when j leave the neighborhood...
