The front rim on an 86 aero of mine had a very out of round drum so I bought an 89 elite front rim which mounted right up, but isn't quite the same... The drum dish on the elite rim, towards the brake panel, is about 3/8ths of an inch shallower id say than the aero's leaving the brake assembly pad ...

Thanks for the reply zz28zz, I thought it was an issue myself.

I ended up buying a clone carb off Amazon and swapped the OEM emulsion tube, main jet, slide and needle into the clone and to my surprise it fired right up and I was able to tune it well enough. Runs great now 😁

I'm aware of that. If you read my whole post I am calling it the "choke emulsion tube" because I am unsure of what to call it. It's the brass tube where the choke picks up extra fuel that I am talking about. It doesn't fit snuggly where it is and I am wondering if this could be causing an ...
