I ran mine derestricted for 2 yrs. top speed was 55 mph with the 9 to 1 gear ratio, i have those gears if want them $15 plus shipping, i also get a discount on parts from vt cycles as they are good friends of mine.

if the rings are stuck and piston is scarred it will still seize, replace all the gaskets.

For an everyday rider the corsa kit is all you need and it is port matched, the spree fuel tank is small & the brakes suck, with the right parts combo you will hit 75mph, the 85cc Taiwan kits don't last long due to the metallurgy.

2 yrs ago they changed the formula on si-7, that blue stuff will gum up rings and wrist pin bearings, nobody uses it over here.

Try www.scootertherapy.com you will have to pull the piston out, free the rings, or replace the piston & rings.

they are malossi 8 to 1 ratio, my top speed was 65 mph with a 65cc bore kit & 18mm mikuni carb.

just called this shop again and there is a conflict between the 2 brothers that own the shop, if you swap out 4 gears from an sa50 along with the shaft it will work otherwise i was right , they have stopped making those gears for a while.

I don't think jegs sells guages for air cooled engines, the one i have is for small aircraft/ultra lites and go carts, its a simple 3 wire instal, i put the sending wire on exhaust close to the flange with a hose clamp, just e mail vt cycles, they have so many parts they can't list them on their web...
