how much do those engines go for , and what do you have to mod to bolt it up ?

i have 3 spree's im going to be restoring over the fall and winter , hopefully in time for next summer . I ll be posting pics and note's on all three of the builds , so any tips or idea you guys got are welcome , help steer me in the right direction :D here's the facts on the bike's in order : bike1...

its the right carb for sure , i have 3 spree's and they all have the same one . as for the port it sticks off the back and goes under the plastic head cover ? not sure if that helps put there's got to be something to plug it too

do i need to whole airbox , or could i just put a small filter cap on it ? also for the oil im putting in a little over a table spoon ? i dont get the 2cycle mixing yet

PROBLEM: motor only runs if i cover the back of the carb with my fingers , the more air i let in the higher it rev's . with my hand off it goes to full throtle and dies out ? THINGS I'VE TRIED: cleaned the whole carb inside and out , check throttle needle to see if it raised up when turned, turn bot...

do any site sell rebuild kits ?

I have a seized 87 spree motor , im just wordering if i can take it apart and rebuild it ? if so how hard is it and what will cost ?

also because its seized do i have to bore it out a little to make up for the deep cuts in the cyclender walls ?

i just got a 87 spree motor and the oil pump was missing and the port filled with a rock hard green clay , almost like really hard body filler ?

is this some speed mod i've never heard of ?
