Hello Noiseguy,

I checked the idle jet when cleaning the carb. I'll pull the carb apart again and clean it.

I'm not sure about the oil. I've just been buying 2 cycle oil for motorcycles, etc...

I'll make sure to purchase injector oil from now on.

thanks agin

Also I read on the forum that it might be a BY Starter problem. I believe that this has to do with the choke, maybe?

I just bought a new choke last year and things were much better. This year too much oil, maybe?

Ok I did the carb clean. It was better for a while then it slowly whent back to the same. 25 top speed and bogging. I noticed a good amount of oil in the carb plus on the spark plug. So I'm guessing this is the problem since it seemed to have run good for a while after I flushed out the carb. Is the...

Hello Noiseguy,

Hope all is well. I'm going to re-clean the carb today. I have put fresh gas into it but that didn't seem to help. Actually I'm really hoping after the carb is cleaned that will solve the problem. Cross your fingers. I'll give an update soon.

thanks!

Hello everyone, Had the 86 spree running good last summer, not so good this summer. This year I cant get it to match its 27 mph speed of last summer it peaks at 25 mph. The exhaust color seems normal after its warmed up. I've also adjusted the air screw. No luck. Its been bogging down when I get it ...

Hello Jerry, Thanks. Sorry about the mix up. I thought lots of white smoke meant to much air and lots of black smoke meant to little air. I thought lean meant not enough gas and rich meant to much gas. I'll re-adjust the air screw and idle and I'll adjust the float. Thanks a lot for your help. I'll ...

Hello Jerry, Sorry about the lack of detail. I bought the Spree used and pretty beat up. It was in-expensive but not running very well. It was running lean. Lots of smoke and no idle. I adjusted the air flow screw but it didn't help. I pulled apart the carb and cleaned it and inspected it. It looked...

I also replaced the old electric choke with a brand new one. A new Spark Plug as well. I am still getting to much gas. I have to leave the lid on teh air filt...

Hello,

The bounce is in the back. I do stand up but I was hoping to remain seated. Its really not that big of a deal. I just figured if it could easily be adjusted, why not.

Thank you

adjusting the suspension

Hello everyone,javascript:emoticon(':D')

I weight 175 lbs and my Spree seems to know it. Has anyone tried any adjustments to the suspension? I'd like a bit less bounce. Thanks
