Yeah the petcock is kinda messed up, it drips when its on the off position but we got it running now (cleaned the carb and all the jets) but the whole "Doesnt stop spewing gas" thing is still wrong... It doesnt flood when its running but you kill that thing and its all gate aflow. So yeah ...

Anyone know anything about a 1980 honda express 2 moped... My friend is having a real struggle with it. What it's doing is it takes gas right in but spews it right out the overflow on the carb. Then it's flooding before we even give it gas. Like when we get it started (takes about an hour) it's good...

no offense i dont wana be a weiner but i really dont wanna hear it. i understand ur * but i just wana fix my scoot. i got a new bystarter today froma junkyard .. and the whole reason i got it was cuase the old one only had 1 of the 3 plastic peices that hold on the brass cylinder and on the way home...

I also just remembered that holes on the new engines reed valve where slightly smaller( the holes you can can see the metal reeds through) than the holes on the old engines reed valve. so i put the valve with the bigger holes on the new engine ( bigger is beter and faster right?) im thinkin that mig...

Alright how would i go about checkin for a leak ? im gettin a new bystarter also cuase my old one was a piece of crap ne ways and im tryin to eliminate any problems( the little pieces of plasiticc inside that hold in the brass cylinder on the end of the bystarer are broken off)

alright i tok apart carb .... good main jet #65, totally clean, it still does the same thing. could this be a bystarter isssue? still has the 15-16 miles and hour "speed limit" where it bogs out. when ti bogs out at like 15 you can hear the engine just coast down in rpms and then die( whil...

i moved the clip up to the top notch to lean out the mixture( i have an 87 so theres only 3 notches) i also replaced the spark plug and i t will now get to abot 15-17 and then bog out and sumtimes it will die while slowing down. ill check main jet i have 2 of em so ill try putin the other one in the...

could i take the main jet out of my old carb and trow it in there? and what is the needle thingy u where talkin about? if its the old engine full of oil thing what do you suggest i do?

i got a new spark plug today and still no change in the way it runs. i did notice somthing though( or rather my dad notice it) if let to sit and run for a while small drops of black come out of the muffler ( im 99 percent sure its oil) also it smokes religiously. im guesssin its just running reallll...

is the idle jet the small hole beind the main jet? and can shoul u normally be able to see light through it?
