Maui Scooter Rentals

Ok Guys... It's been a LONG time since I've been on here, and come on bended knee. When I was on here years ago (circa 2009) there was a strong Hawaii scooter culture on here. My girlfriend and I will be going to Maui and Oahu 4/13-4/20. Any of you local boys know the best place to rent scooters on ...

Re: My chinese encounter.....

Personally, I try to be friendly to anyone rider a 2-wheeled motor. Otherwise, you are not much better than a Hog rider who turns his/her nose up at a Spree. Whats the difference between a vaccum cleaner and a harley??? The location of the DIRT BAG! Im with you Clive... I have a heart for anyone th...

Re: insurance prices

I live on the Central Coast of California... I own way to many two wheeled vehicles (5 scooters, 2 motorcycles), all of which have to be insured when I register them, so I usually bounce around the insurance from scooter to scooter depending on which ones registration is due. 8) I have the lowest ba...

Re: First accident

I've always said that there are two types of riders in this world... Those that HAVE crashed, and those that WILL crash... You can now place yourself in the first category with most of the people on this site. Just glad to hear you "walked awway" with minor injuries. When it comes to two w...

Re: Flash III In Da Ha-Oouse

HOLY JEEZ  I always told myself "wheelman will get a dio when pigs fly"... Sure enough "swine flu", and a few months later, bam you gotta dio! Congrats, that thing is BAD *. But you must come clean on year, mileage, and price. BTW, does it have 4... I mean 4.7 original mil...

Re: CH-80 wont start

Wheelman: That does make sense, that and the reeds getting f'd, but since 4-strokes dont have 'em, I figured that I was free and clear. What do you guys think though? Is the starter the problem? Im gonna go work on it when I get off work at 5 (home by 5:30ish), this is assuming that I have the energ...

Re: CH-80 wont start

One more thing (before there is even a reply to my original post).

I know starting fluid is a no-no on all of my two-stroke 50cc scooters... Is that the same case with this thing?

CH-80 wont start

Long story short, this guy asked me to work on his ch80 that ran, but wouldn't go. Local shop said a min of $200 to even look at it! I didnt have time, or even know the guy, but he saw me outside my garage with all my scooters and asked if I would be interested, I said yes like an idiot! He gave me ...

Re: I want one of these!

Who cares about google (chrome or not), you guys are getting off the subject of one of the best things I've seen on here in quite a while. I live in the perfect town for one of these! Good weather year round, lots of tourist, lots of students, a great downtown, A LOT of bars and patrons, with speed ...

Re: What's the dumbest/most embarrassing way to hurt yourself?

Did someone say stoppie? I prefer the term "Chinese Wheelie"... I've got those pretty much down on the Ol' Motard. Rolling and All 8) To bad I haven't made it into any "rap videos"... Maybe I should place a call to DMX ? http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv359/slosquirrel/...

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R

All I can say is SUPERMOTO!!! Not that im bias or anything  I've had a few friends with these when they were first starting out on street bikes (but they were the old body style). They are a great bike to learn on, and the new ones look great. But even the modded ones I've ridden have left me ...

Re: 1984 AERO 125

Thanks Capt... I realize the CH80 is a good bike, and relatively bullet proof. Comparing longevity/maintnance on it to my sumo isn't fair to it, and doesn't do it justice. As for the spree, I wasn't trying to be to mean. I know it's what started it all. Not to mention I love the looks and overall ch...

Re: in need of a cheap, yet effective motor swap!! ('86 Spree)

60-80mph on a spree for $200 :? Hate to be a pesimistic S.O.B. but it aint gonna happen, unless you somehow find a willing person to donate both a dio motor($300) and about $600 (atleast) in aftermarket stuff... Even then I wouldn't want to take a spree with that kinda power up to those speeds and h...

Re: 1984 AERO 125

Now comparing a two-stroke and a four-stroke is a good way to make a point... But why you gotta make it a spree, no offense to sprees but thats just not a fair comparison for the two-strokes! In addition, what mods have you done to require 40+ plug chops to get it running correctly? I have yet to &q...
