Re: 80/90 question
Ok, I haven't ordered my tire yet, I want to get a couple things straight first. The stock tire on the Spree is a 2.50X10, which I have on the front and rear. If I go to a larger size on the rear, I will get more top end speed? Will acceleration be slower with the larger tire? The front is brand new...

Re: 80/90 question
Doesn't look like they have that in a size to fit a Spree. I'm not comfortable going over the 2.75X10 size.makadangdang wrote:the best tire you could possibly use for street riding is michelin S1. they cost about 45 bucks each here in hawaii but they are well worth the money.

Re: 80/90 question
I need a new rear tire and after reading this thread thought I might go with the Kenda K329 in 2.75 X 10 size (from Motorcycle Superstore). I have a stock INOU or whatever 2.50 x 10 on the front so I hope it won't make a difference to go with the bigger tire on the back.

Re: Oil leak
Yeah, don't smell gas but I wondered if the crankshaft seals are worn and leaking. I was also wondering if I can remove the oil pump and inspect the seal on it? Don't think the line is leaking since I just replaced it because of this issue thinking it might be the problem. It does seem almost like o...

Oil leak
Hi, Have an '86 Spree that is really leaking oil now. Having a hard time telling exactly where but it looks like might be the oil pump. I know there are seals in the pump but I dont know anything more than that. It is running fine. Here are a few pics of the oil leak issue: Seems to leak these huge ...

fuel filter
Hi,
I was thinking of perhaps installing a fuel filter on my '86 Spree and was wondering if anyone can recommend the kind to get? I think this topic has been covered before so if there is a link to that thread please feel free to direct me to it. Thanks.

oil pump
Hi,
I seem to have an oil leak coming from the oil pump ('86 Spree). Was wondering if they're are replaceable seals/o-rings for the oil pump or should i order a replacement pump? If there is another thread regarding this already, please feel free to direct me over to it. Thanks.

When I initially start the bike it starts out smooth riding. After it warms up , from a dead stop it starts to lurch violently and then after it starts going the lurching stops. if i take a turn without having to stop it works fine as long as i am moving through the turn. But if i have to turn from ...
