SA50-installed some parts, now it runs but wont move! *MORE
My SA50 has been sitting for a while and I wanted to get it back to stock. I opened it up and put back the stock variator and the stock gears. After a bit of starter fluid and some effort I have managed to get it started again ( the first time in years, in restrospect I should have got it running fi...

Re: Easy question on gear change for a dio
How do you put the oil in the gear housing? Do I just pour it in before I close it up and screw everything shut? Or do I put everything back together first and pour it into one of the external holes?

Re: Easy question on gear change for a dio
lol that is exactly what I wanted to do but my SO who also will be riding it is irrationally and uncompromisingly paranoid about the legality issues so I just gave in and agreed to put it back stock and sell the parts. The "problem" is that it should not have even been able to ever ...

Re: Easy question on gear change for a dio
Thanks bro, that is exactly what I need to know. I'm getting the ol' dio registered and I am having to take off all my performance top speed upping mods. Speaking of that you might have some wisdom to impart to me about something. I'm actually going to be selling the upgrade parts since I won't ( to...

Easy question on gear change for a dio
When putting the gear box back together how much and what kind of oil do you put in the gear box before sealing it back up? Does anyone have a link to good gear changing instructions that has this type of information to make sure I do it correctly?

Re: I GOT A TICKET... *
So I was riding to the post office to drop off a package and an undercover cop pulls me over, tells me that I need to be wearing protective eye wear and that since I was not he'd be issuing me a ticket for not having the proper safety equipment. He went back to his car and took over 30 minutes befo...

those gears are fine. the aftermarket ones are just made thiner. if you put the gear cover back on, and the rear wheel spins with no drag, then your fine. if the tire wont move then take back apart and remove washer. im having a hard time deciding whether i am experiencing aberrant drag or not. How...

First of all from may last thread I wanted to know - My aftermarket gears are thinner and less beefy than my stock ones is this normal or did I get bad quality parts? I just finished bolting in the plate on that holds the oil and actual gears - can I tell if I need to remove that infamous spacer was...
