i finally got around to checking out the noise, i still don't know what it is for sure, but when I take off the clutch and pully cover the sound is gone - i think it might be part of the kickstart assembly - does anything go wrong with it that it would make that kind of a rattle. i wish i could driv...

sounds like a sack of dead batteries when driving

howdy, i let my cousing go for a ride on the spree - which he had done many times before - but this time he was drunk and very disorderly - when he got back it made a sound like a sack of bolts when it was rolling - when its stationary and the engine is just running it sounds fine - but when its rol...

sheet metal and a few hamers and dollies and bags full of sand, and you should be able to pull of something that will cover your needs, then off course you'll need to cut off the excess. let us all see how it turns out. sheet aluminum - wicked cheap and wicked easy to hammer out. just a tip - oh and...

you know what really rocks, but is expensive - well about 60 bucks for the kit, is the thank Kreem. i've used it on two Kawaski ninja's from the 80's and once the tank has been kreemed it will never rust - and its a three step process - and the first step eats all the rust and cleans the tank like n...

it should be in snug - not too tight, because its brass and aluminum - but you don't want just hanging low.

do you mean blocked off port?
cause if its just open, i think that would be a serious vacuum leak, and it probably wouldn't run.
okay
well try it out and let me know

for about 2 bucks you can get a little plastic one from advance autoparts in the lawnmower parts section,
they have them at lowes and home depot for more, but they'll say brigs and straton.
i think that the walmart might have them also.
but yeah
check it out.
its worth the 2 bucks

scrapin' pegs... well my vin number.

howdy, i was out scooting around this morning, still amazed at how much fun 25 mph can be, (i've been riding dirtbikes, since i was 11 - i just turned 25), seriously unbelievable the 50cc's of fury. but at any rate i figured the only way to have more fun is to push in and roll on the throttle - well...

top end - just rings?

i've been all through the links, and it seems that very few people bore and try again. it seems like this is a rings kinda job. but my question is - is this just a steel bore? isn't new rings what people do for nikasil or eletro bore. i guess really what i'm asking is: is it worth the 20 dollars in ...

intermitant great running

my spree runs great for maybe ten minutes. and then stalls out. then will only idle. it seriously suprised me how well it ran when i first started it. and it accellerated right up to 25 mph. ran steady. then it started to sputter after a few minutes. then it would only idle - if i were to give it ga...

i've never had a problem with plastic floats - brass ones, maybe. but if you shake your float and there's no fuel in it - your probably good. its the float pin you have to look at - maybe pin isn't the word - the float needle maybe - the rubber tipped thing that lets the fuel in - well that has a li...
