You obviously have no clue what you are doing let alone saying. I am adding this to an old post for future users to read and learn. You obviously have no clue as to what you are doing and must be DOL with nothing better to do. My bike was built right and tested. You obviously have no clue as to how ...

Re: Polini Corsa Kit Owners Read This

Here we go again. First, I wasn't looking for max preformance. If I was I would have gone with aftermarket carb and a better exhaust. I wanted max preformance while using/keeping stock carb rejetted, so I can keep the oil injection and a factory looking exhaust. I was after a factory look with max p...

Re: Polini Corsa Kit Owners Read This

Update, almost 2 years later the old factory crankshaft bearings went out. Trashed the Polini Corsa. Working at Delta Airlines I had alot of access to tooling so I tore it all down. Media blasted everything including side covers and both wheels. Did a run out check of the factory crankshaft and was ...

Re: Installed Polini 72cc kit on '94 SA50...Runs well then s

The Problem here is not heat seizing, its stock muffler. Its building up too much back pressure and shuts the engine down. 2 stroke, air gets in only if it can get out. The muffler is being pressurized. When I originally did my 1999 SR50 I did a Polini Corsa, 100 jet on stock carb, new clucth with 1...

Re: Replacing the wrist pin bearing

Yeah well my crank bearings went out so it could have knocked my crank out of true. On top of that I smacked it a few times with a brass hammer and it started to seperate. Anyway, I knocked it back, clearance wise seems fine, I slapped a feeler guage, but true I don't know. Anyhow, wanting to keep c...

Re: Replacing the wrist pin bearing

Wheelman, how hard is it to replace the connecting rod bearing at the crankshafts end? I popped my engine apart due to bad crankshaft bearings. I am ordering new crank bearings, seals and want to replace the connecting rods bearings as well. The piston end is a snap but whats the deal with the crank...

Happy, I have only changed jets twice. I drilled it with a #60 for a 100 jet as per VT. I then went a bit larger which went too much as I did not have the next size drill bit and was leaving Fl for Oklahoma so I went back to the 100 jet. But I recently purchased a drill bit set consisting of a #65, ...

Happy, been away for a bit, now in Oklahoma. My SR50 had been running funny, good when cold, then at WOT it ran great but sometimes slowed down a tad then picked up again and so on. I think it was too much back pressure from the stock muffler. Once hot, the idle seemed rich, when I opened the thrott...

Well, I will say this, I got my new (used) tank in. The outside looked ok, my paint was shinier but the inside was mint condition and I got it in two days for $28.49 can't beat that. Also, Permatex tank repair, if done right is some serious stuff, a clean sanded area and that stuff stick great and s...

There is no way that bowl is running dry, that means my scooter would run 30 minutes before the tank went dry! Same goes with the fuel line, if you remove it from the carb, the tank would run dry in 15 minutes, apply vauum to the valve to keep it open of course. I KNOW its a combination of the jet a...

it was in the middle position before which gave me more problems. I moved the clip all the way down which raised the needle higher in the seat, the tapered end moves up letting more fuel flow. i rode it quite a ways before it started to lean again. I am very close to it. I now it needs more fuel. I ...

I just rode it, late tonight after redoing the needle clip. It ride so much better but after a mile and a half if starts to lean out, but much farther than before, I almost thought I had it licked. So, I will wait till I get my new drill bits, go one up at a time and see. If I go too far I can alway...

Well? How is it triggered? Does it have a motion sensor? Impact sensor? I wonder how much drain it has on the battery, although kick start is always there.

I pulled the fuel filter and its clean, fuel is clean in carb. I drilled the jet out and it ran like crap, so I got my new unused jet and redrilled it again to 1mm using a different bit which seemed a hair larger. Runs very strong and hard again but after say 1/2 to 3/4 mile same thing so, if I have...
