So, I disconnected the fuel line from the carb. When I kicked it, the fuel pumped out of the line each time I kicked.

That's a good thing, right?

So, now what? If anyone has a Jog, and knows a lot about this, shoot me your number if you're up for a phone chat.

The guy I bought it from just cleaned the carb.

Also, it's starting even without quick start now, but it only runs for a few seconds and dies.

Does it still sound like a clogged carb?

JOG HELP!!!

Sorry to post this here guys...

My jog starts up with quick-start, but only runs for a few seconds. It seems like its not getting fuel.

The vacuum and fuel lines seem fine. Any other ideas?

Keep in mind, I am brand new to scooters.

Help me out.

Picked it up! '98 Nextzone Jog, White with purple trim. I have been trying to buy this thing from this guy for almost 3 months now. The plastics are in good shape...some scratches. A little chunk it gone from behind the left handle grip, but from the front, you can't tell. Another funny thing...it h...

I don't think it's a shortfall in coverage. But...well, that forum is really boring. This one is a bit more amusing, and seems to have a community of people who dig on scooters in general. The Yamaha forum has a lot of people who go there only for technical info. This forum has people who seem to ge...

Well, that's what I meant...a Yamaha section would be cool. But, let's face it...everyone here is cooler than on other forums. I don't like the other forums. I like this one. I don't want to kill the Honda community...and in fact, keep it Hondaspree.net. But, at the same time, I feel like this has b...

YAMAHAS ON THIS FORUM...please read

Ok, I am finalizing my purchase of a '98 Jog tonight. Several others have purchased them lately, and some others are discussing them. Now, some are quick to point out, "this is a honda forum". But, I have got to say... Who cares! In fact, I think there should be a Yamaha forum on Hondaspre...

d*** right!

Greatest thing ever...well, for key chains anyway. I was quite the skeptic, but then I tried it myself...it's cool, because your own art becomes permanently plastic.

By the way, my son's key chains are so awesome. Wolfmen drawn by 6 year olds make for awesome ones...

d***, I thought I posted that I could do other scoots in there. That was just a generic scoot for this design.

Well, anyway, I'd be more than happy to do a Spree or Elite or something.

I could flip the Pal. Buy it for 200, sell it for more. I'm not overly concerned with tons of speed, per se. I just don't want a scoot that I'll be constantly fixing. If the Jog is newer, perhaps it will give me less problems in the long run?

Scoot dilemma...help me choose

I now am expecting to pick up both a 98 Jog and an 85 Honda Pal. The Pal needs the choke or throttle fixed, and the Jog needs a new vacuum hose. The Pal is 200, the Jog is 300.

Now...Honestly, I can't really afford both of these. So...which one should I keep, and which one should I sell?

Not yet, although more will come.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one yet. I mean, who rides through waves? Hehe.
