Hi, There are lots of third party flywheel removers. Here's one on eBay. I bought one like it years ago. Double check measure your threads first, but I think this fits. It is left hand thread. The one I bought originally for a Yamaha scooter, works fine on Spree/Elite/Gyro/Aero flywheels. It measur...

And this is what happens when you don't mix enough oil with a bore kit and the top of the piston melts and blows out around the rings:

Obviously not good enough. I put just under 100 miles on it and decided to see what it'd top out at and as soon as I hit 60 it popped. AHHHHHHH!!!! BAD ELITE RIDER! BAD! What did you use for the pre-mix??? Pre-mix... what's that? ahaha I'm just messing with you. I was using 50:1, but this tank I di...

ROTOR PULLER / FLYWHEEL PULLER

Does anyone have a Honda Rotor Puller or Flywheel Puller? It's part number 07733-001-0000? And I guess it looks like this: http://www.sp125racing.com/q65_image45a9d712510bcRotorPuller.jpg Are there any other makeshift ways of getting the flywheel off? Or if anyone has this tool I'll give you $15 and...

Oh no... I'm going to need a new kit. It was hella hard to get the piston off the jug, so I'd imagine I scored the * out of it.

yep now you have to split it and clean it out.. the lazy man way is to pour oil in it and let it drain out. Aluminum floats and wil run out, but if i was you, do it correctly and slip the cases.Nothing is worse that having a small piece of aluminum hiding in the seals. when you ride it the vacuum s...

Did you try freeing it with PB like I told you?
Haha yeah I did, but it was nearly impossible. It definitely helped though! Without PB I'd still be clueless as to how I'd get the d*** piston off of the crank.

OMG...Didn't you just start building your set-up? And you already got a engine seized?? Did you even break it in???
Obviously not good enough. I put just under 100 miles on it and decided to see what it'd top out at and as soon as I hit 60 it popped.

Crank case

How hard is it to open up the crank case on an SA50? I need to get inside and try to clean out the shards of my piston and whatever is inside the housing to cause the crank to stick.

Worst part is, I think that all of that metal is in the crank and even though I removed the piston the crank won't rotate freely it gets caught up on something.

Hole In Piston...

Anyone ever see this before?

Is this due to a cheaply made bore kit, lack of oil, or what?

This happened at full throttle at about 60mph.
